Easy to assemble and prep for use. It took me less than 5 minutes to pull it out of the box and have it going. The assembly and before first use instructions were great. The fact that it comes with a simple maintenance sheet was helpful as well. Having never owned a generator before I wasn’t sure how frequently I needed to change the oil and/or filter so that is helpful. We live in a high fire area so generator reliability is very important when the power is cut off. After buying the smaller (5300DFv) and loving it, I bought this larger one to power more appliances and our air conditioner. Highly recommended.

I bought this recently for backup when our power goes out. I compared everything out there. There was one other unit that was known as a top brand. All my comparisons left the Westinghouse as the leader, the comparisons were very close so the deciding factor since I knew it was top quality was the cost. The Westinghouse was several thousand dollars less at the same quality. Our power went out shortly after I got it, it worked beautifully. Easy to set up and use. I ran it on propane and gas, easy to switch. Flat out a quality product!

Delivery was a snap, as was the installation of the wheels and support brackets. Decided to use propane for initial startup, and it started up and ran just fine. Haven’t powered much yet with it yet, but I’m sure it’ll run what I’ll need it to run.

I really Can't believe that I waited this long to make this purchase! The area in which i live in has frequent power outages and most lasting hours if not days! We are fortunate to be in a suburb country city of Montreal where we have an abundance of trees. We love this but it comes at a price when it gets windy or we get hit by ice storms! This unit is quite a bit more expensive than other brands but I have only heard great reviews and so far I am extremely happy with my purchase. Can't wait for the power to go out now!

The generator arrived well packaged on a pallet. This generator is heavy and you need to pick is up high enough to install the wheels which were a cinch. Then pick up the other end to install the stands. It comes with one quart of oil but you will need approx 14 ounces from another quart. The box shows 2 people I would recommend that.

Bought this unit and got it delivered. Solid & compact unit. Simple & quick assembly with tools provided. Attached bubble level indicators to guide correct placement (purchased separately). Easy to move around with the large wheels and foldable handlebar. Comes with oil and funnel. Runs great. Clear instructions covering assembly, operations and maintenance.

Awesome piece of equipment. Completed the assembly as required and first push of the starter button, she was up and running and purring like a kitten. Put a small load on it to see how she runs and handles a load, was amazed. Have an older generator and every time you plug anything as small as a 100 watt light bulb up to it, it goes nuts. This thing purrs like a kitten and much quieter than my older one. Highly recommend. The electric start is definitely a plus, getting a bit older so don’t have to worry about pulling a cord 5+ times to get her started. Highly recommend to anyone who is in the market for a larger backup generator.

We used our generator for the first time during a power outage due to a tornado. Although the generator can run on gas or propane, we decided to just use propane. It made it SO EASY! No draining of gas when we no longer needed to run it, so easy to change out tanks. Love, love, love the remote control and push button start! We had to use the pull cord one time, and that required a string man to pull it hard enough. We are very happy with this generator!

I just took delivery of this generator after being faced with power outages almost 2 times a year so now I am connected to the whole house to feel more secure next time we lose power again I love the duel power availability ,so far I used the propane fuel source and the automatic start It fired up in 2 seconds! Good value compared to other brands in this wattage category. I would recommend to anyone looking for a generator to buy this one or brand name I believe it will perform well and assembling the wheels and the pad cushion feet took me less than 10 minutes without help from anyone very easy

I purchased the WGEN 9500 at Lowes and had it shipped directly to my house. The product was in perfect condition and after preparing the product as directed by the instructions it fired up immediately using the electric start. I also started it using the remote key FOB from about 20 Ft with no problems whatso ever. I am very pleased with it's initial performance and I am 100% certain it will perform as advertised when needed.
