Bought this last week to power our camper while boondocking. Have not used it yet other then initial start up and it fired right up using propane. A little louder then I was hoping for but I believe with the A/C units running the sound of it won’t be that big of a problem.

After being in so many power outage due storms ( Derecho) my husband decided to get this unit. Out the box is easy to put together and use the remote start is a charm. We try to run the air conditioner and some appliances fridge and worked fine Now we are looking to put an inlet box so we can connect to the panel so we dont have cord running through windows or doors. Overall is a great investment

This has worked great ever since I finally got it running! The pull start was frustrating for me but perhaps that was operator error. After it started the first time I used the Start/Stop button which works flawlessly. Also the remote start is super convenient. After I use this for a couple of months I am sure I will update it to 5 stars (I just need to test it a bit more to be certain).

I bought this last month for back up power during power outages from storms and tornados. We lose power from time to time and when it last for hours, we could lose our refrigerator and freezer food, also sitting in the dark is not fun. Powers all the the essentials in my house. I bought this following the worst snowstorm in decades when power went out for 30,000+ homes in Nevada County, Ca. Wish I would have had it a month before. Would have saved me waiting for hours in line at the gas station.

I did my research on portable generators. There are a number of good units by other brands. I chose the wgen9500df because of the power and versatility of fuels. The option of gas and propane for the minimal extra cost is a no-brainer. I’m a mechanically-minded person and I’ve worked with tools, engines, construction sites, shops, all my life. I’m impressed with the design, features and quality construction of this unit. Everything has been thought-through. I highly recommend this unit. I can see why this unit had such excellent reviews.

I was skeptical about using this generator to power critical loads including some sensitive electronics (computer/network hardware) in my house during emergencies because of the high THD, but I think we'll be fine. I set it up today and gave it a test run on just 30A cord power to some of the electronic loads. No problems! I have not had a chance to run the loads from the circuit breaker because I need an electrician to install the hookup, but I feel confident based on the test run and online reviews about not having any problems that this genset will be a winner!

Purchased the Westinghouse WGen9500TFc Generator. The remote-electric start is a great feature and works flawlessly. Comes with a on board battery, that’s a plus. The 50 amp outlet is a plus as well. It has a 30 amp outlet also. It came fully assembled, just had to add the included oil. I used it for about 35 hours already without any problems. Great purchase!

This thing is a beast for my needs. Still waiting to have a transfer switch installed to see how the house does. For individual needs, I love it. Had four different air compressors plugged in at the same time and it didn't even phase it. Super good purchase!

I just received my generator WGent 9500 TFC and the remote doesn't work and looks like it has been used. (Scratched, wrinkled label on back) I cannot get the remote to program. Have called 800 # (someone will call back). Online chat (wanted my credit card).
