I am replacing a 20 year old generator with similar capacity. The remote start feature is what convinced me to get this unit. Also, compared to my old generator, the battery is located much better for service, and the control panel has more information. Dual fuel capability is nice. It is refreshing to get a well-written owners manual with good English. It is louder than my old generator for no good reason that I can see except lazy design -- that is the only reason for 4 stars instead of 5.

I bought this generator after the recent winter weather left us without power. The generator arrived fast and was easy to get operational The starting sequence is very easy and I love it can run off propane. This generator will hopefully power most of my home.

Relative suggested a dual-fuel generator, and this is the unit we decided upon. Took it out of the box, added wheels and feet. Put in oil and a little fuel. Synced the remote start fob (cool feature I wasn't expecting!). Tried to start the machine, it sputtered and tried to crank itself 4 times before turning off. Asked neighbor for help. Neighbor executed the same procedure I did, and it worked like a charm. No idea why it was moody with me, hence the 4 stars. Tested it on Christmas lights, worked good so far! The real test will be hurricane season.

I bought this unit several weeks ago and received it in a reasonable time. My electrician needed to do some work to consolidate power lines prior to testing the generator. All work was completed and we tested the unit. It worked great! Easy to start, managed the main areas we needed and even my electrician was surprised how well it handled our load requirements. Included in the main house requirements, it also handled our well house. The well provided water for our house and several barns. This purchase was made for potential electrical supply outages and I’m very pleased with easy of hook up and generator output performance. Anyone living on a farm/ranch should consider one of these generators.

Just bought. Purchase based on features, price, and size.... couldn't find anything that beat it. Assembly was easy. I appreciate everything being included.... Propane hose, battery tender, tools, oil, etc. Metric bolts on Westinghouse seems strange, but everything is as expected.

My WGEN9500 was purchased online on Monday they delivered it on Friday. Easy set up came with oil, wrenches, wheels, and battery. Starts 3 ways all started the generator with no problem! Has lots of handy features plus a very generous warranty program of 3 years motor and gen. Well worth the money!!!

Very happy so far with this Westinghouse Generator. Love the remote start and it runs just about every this in the house. I have a stub up with one plug to the panel box and i will be able to just open my door hit the remote , stay dry in the storm and have 220 accessibility as well. Great product highly reccomend this.

Haven't had a chance to really use it, bought during a wildfire and by the time we got home, we had power. It was very easy to set up and started up right away though! Quiet for it's size. Excited to actually put it to the test when we lose power in the winter.

After serious research we decided on this product and happy that we did. The overall power and two fuel options really make the difference. Just in time for some serious weather that has power outage potential. Even though we can't hardwire in at this time the option to do so to run the entire home is awesome. Even though the unit is pretty heavy its easy to move with the wheels and the size is smaller and more compact than I expected. Some reviews said it was loud but it doesn't seem too bad for what you're getting in power return. Planning on having this generator for years to come for whatever emergency arises.

We needed a generator as we lose power a lot and for days at a time. Our electrician suggested this one and it seems great. Easy to set up and start and will provide us power for a whole house. A small caution that it is HEAVY. Even when wheeling around, it takes some effort and in the box movement requires several people.
