It has been great for whipping cream, mixing cheesecake filling and many other uses. If I had bought it first, I may have never purchased a stand mixer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the nicest hand mixer I have ever used. It looks great and feels solid and balanced. It is noticeably less loud than other mixers, especially when you use the coated beaters (great feature!) Additional features that I like are the way the cord can be moved out of the way and locked into place and that it will stand nicely on its end. I used this mixer for a variety of recipes and it performed great. I finally found its limit when I tried making meringues. It frothed eggs no problem but couldn't quite get a double batch of the egg and sugar mixture to form stiff peaks. It's possible I didn't mix long enough but the mixer's impressive weight was in this case a disadvantage. This mixer is too heavy if you are mixing for a long time. I won't be giving up my stand mixer, but I willbe using it less!

I compared this mixer to another without the flex edge beaters and noticed that it does do a better job of mixing all of my ingredients quickly and evenly. Another added plus is that they do not leave scratches on my metal bowls. I love the convenience of the storage attachment so I won’t lose any pieces. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve miss placed my mixer attachments!! Overall, a great hand mixer to have.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is good quality mixer. Here is what my wife liked about it: It's very quiet. Lightweight. Silicone coating on the beaters. She said this is a great feature. With her old mixer, with uncoated metal beaters, whatever she was mixing with stick to the metal. With these, she only had to tap them on the bowl and the residue would come off. Very comfortable grip. 6 speeds. Her only negative, which she said was not that big of a deal, was the power cord came out of the bottom of the mixer, instead of the back. This prevented her from putting the mixer upright on the counter surface.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow! This kitchenaid 6 speed hand mixer is incredible. It is lightweight and super easy to use. Most importantly the flex edge beaters have significantly reduced amount of time I need to mix. In the past I have also had to pause and scrape ingredients on the side of the bowl while I mixed. However, the flex edge beaters allow me to easily get all the ingredients off the side of the bowl without making a ton of noise. This is a must have kitchen staple. I highly recommend.

This replaced my Fedco purchased General Electric harvest gold hand mixer, that was starting to smoke when mixing thick cookie batter... so of course it's like a dream of a machine! Only used it once, and it made easy the task at hand with efficiency. Also, I like how it stores the 3 mixing tools on the bottom of the mixter.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mixer is going to replace my old vintage hand mixer that my mother gave to me. I got the baby blue color and it gives me a vintage vibe but it is so much powerful than my old mixer. I love the "flex edge" beaters that prevent my mixing bowls from getting scratched not to mention that horrible noise that comes with just metal beaters. Overall, the mixer has a quality, sturdy feel. My wife just got finished using it to make several batches of holiday cookies and she said that it had no problem with the thick dough. It does have variable speeds, too. I'm highly satisfied with this mixer and am certain I will get many years of work out of it.

I have a standing mixer that I typically use but sometimes a handheld gives me more control especially for batters or “shredding” chicken. This mixer has a lot of power and worked perfectly for “perfectly chocolate cake” recipe.
