I have several kitchenaid appliances and love them. The design of it is so much better than the one it's replacing- the area where the attachments are installed are covered well- and the vents for air intake and exhaust are nice and small- will help to keep ingredients from being sucked in or splashed into.

This hand mixer is very quiet, lightweight and has several speeds. Very easy to use.

I didn’t expect to love a hand mixer as much as I love this KitchenAid 6‑Speed with the Flex Edge Beaters, but it’s become one of those tools I reach for without even thinking. It just makes everything easier. The speeds are smooth and intuitive, so whether I’m gently folding something delicate or powering through a thicker batter, it never feels like a struggle. The Flex Edge Beaters are the real game‑changer. They scrape the bowl as they mix, which means I’m not constantly stopping to clean the sides with a spatula. It saves time, keeps things cleaner, and honestly makes the whole process feel more effortless. It’s also surprisingly lightweight. I’ve used mixers before that made my arm tired halfway through, but this one feels balanced and comfortable, even during longer mixing sessions. And the soft‑start feature is such a thoughtful touch; no more flour explosions all over the counter. This mixer has become one of those small joys in my kitchen. It’s reliable, easy to clean, and makes baking feel a little more fun. If you’re on the fence, I can say this one has genuinely earned its spot on my counter.

Much better than my previous hand-held mixer (very popular brand name). This mixer has a true low speed that doesn't toss ingredients out of the bowl (like my previous one). Love the beaters with soft molded bottoms. I don't need 9 speeds or more for a hand mixer. What I do need are about 5 with 2 of them being low speeds that simulate hand mixing! This one delivers. Plus it's quiet!

Wanted to love it. This mix has 3 general speeds: slow, slower, and slowest. The build quality is only okay. Beaters don't stay in well. We are buying a new one after a year of occasional use.
