Beater Coating Peeling

I have a KitchenAid 6 Speed Hand Held mixer (Model: KFC3516ER) that I’ve used only three times and the black plastic/flex portion of the beaters is peeling off into my cookie dough. What can be done to correct this?

Not really that good

The concept is good. Compared to other hand mixers, the speed on any setting on this mixer is slower. It has 6 speeds, but it spins like the lower 3. Plus today, I found that the rubber on one of the whisks is peeling off. Stick with stainless steel
