The paddles suck because the black rubber has been coming off and if I don't catch it & snip with scissors it ends up in whatever I am baking ... who ever came up with that design, not sure what they were thinking but it's an epic fail! The mixer itself I love, it is just not fast enough, so this year I bought a 9 speed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Maybe it isn't anything special, but the features really blew me away. That being said, I had been using a mixer that my mom had bought before I was even born which finally burned up when I had stifling through some cheesecake mix. Anyhow, I like the 6 speeds versus the 3 that I've been used to. The silicone covered beaters keep more of the mixture in the bowl, which is a plus and a minus and you have more dessert but less to kick if the beaters. The whisk is a nice addition. The storage silicone cover for the mixer itself is a well thought out touch. So, yeah. I'm blown away.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mixer is great! I've had two KitchenAid Hand Mixers in the past that never let me down providing me with years of customer satisfaction. There is really nothing wrong with my old mixer, I was just intrigued by the FLEX EDGE BEATER option. When I read some reviews about "no more clanking bowl" sound and other positive feedback, I decided to purchase one. I am SO happy I did. Not only did it meet my expectations, it exceeded them! A while ago, I bought a new set of non-stick cookware that warned not to use metal utensils, it could damage the pans. This was a big problem, being we love whipped mashed potatoes! Problem solved, FLEX EDGE BEATERS proved their worth! Also, the beaters have a little spatula-type edge that helps to scrape the bowl when I make cookies. Afterwards, cleanup is a breeze too. I can't say enough about this new mixer! Another handy feature is the ability to change the direction of the cord so it doesn't interfere with the bowl or where you have it plugged in. I haven't used the whisk yet, but the attachment holder keeps everything together for when I need it. All-in-all, a wonderful addition to my kitchen at a reasonable price!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can’t stop using the flex edge beaters with this mixer. These beaters make sure to really mix dry and wet ingredients together. With these beaters, I haven’t seen any dry ingredients left in the corners of my bowl and that’s amazing. It’s easy to slide the speed control to different settings. The mixer is light weight and easy to control.

I only used it once before leaving for an extended vacation and it worked great. Haven’t tried it in yet a stiff dough, hopefully it can handle it. Had to read up on how to attach the beaters, they each have a specific hole which I wasn’t expecting. Would recommend this model.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this mixer because of how easy it is to use and clean! It works just as well as any standup mixer and takes up a third of the space! Living in a small space, this is perfect solution! Love kitchen aid products and would definitely recommend to anyone!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I only received my mixer in December and when I went to insert the whisk, l accidentally turned the mixer on & the plastic piece that holds the beater broke into pieces. I threw the mixer out & returned to using my old one. I was so disappointed that it broke so easily.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this mixer as a gift and I couldn't have chosen better myself. It has enough power to handle the day to day things you use a mixer for. It will smash potatoes into creamy mashed potatoes and can whip your egg whites to perfection. Because it is small and light weight it is easy to store and just pull out of the cupboard when needed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Tried this out for the first time in making a large batch of Christmas cookies - was extremely pleased with how it functioned and plan to use it consistently in my kitchen moving forward. Beaters are easy to remove/clean, and the flex edge is very useful as well. Highly recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this mixer. Kitchen Aid makes high quality products, and this mixer is a great example. The mixer is such an appealing color. It's aesthetically pleasing. I also love the size. I live in a small apartment, and space is a premium. This small mixer doesn't take up much space, so it's easy for me to store. However, don't think because it is small, it is weak. This mixer packs a punch. It also offers variety with 6 speeds. The box comes with the items in the picture. I love that it comes with a wisk. I can't recommend this mixer enough.
