I purchased the Flex Edge Hand Mixer 2 years ago - works great, but in comparison to my older hand mixer, the highest speed is like medium on the old one. Feel like when you are trying to make meringue and such, that the highest it goes is like a medium. Don't make things like they used to.

Didn’t even get warm after doing 6 pieces and a few batches of cookies. Easy to clean and the flex edge beaters didn’t make any marks on my bowl. Very quiet and smooth as well. I highly recommend this blender and love all the colors they come in.

I really appreciate the coating on the beaters so it won't scratch up any bowl I am using. Bonus is that it comes with a whisk! It is quieter than my previous mixer which is great and I really love the color. Looks like a professional kitchen tool. I love this!

I purchased this in the meantime, and it most definitely is not as convienent as my stand mixer. It might have been the bowl I chose to use with it, but I do not feel I could get a good mix.

It mixes the ingredients on the bowl so well! And I love the motor on this thing, it has 6 speeds and it doesnt sound like it's going to give out when I switch it to a higher speed. I've always loved the brand Kitchenaid and this mixer just shows that they are still amazing and this is a very well made kitchen appliance! I also love how compact it is for storage, that makes me even happier.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had the previous version of this Kitchenaid hand mixer for years. Our daughter moved out and took it with her. I'm glad she did, because it opened up my need for a replacement. I really thought there wouldn't be any difference. I loved my last model. It was reliable, well made, well powered. This one is all those things, but more. The flex edge beaters don't seem like a big deal, but they are a big deal. They are WAY quieter in your glass bowls. WAAAAY quieter. They also get the stuff off the bottom of the bowl, like squeegee clean. Very impressed!
