I always get nervous to first turn it on because my last mixer would immediately get flower and sugar all over my kitchen even on the low setting; this one does not. It mixes perfectly w/ NO mess. I love that the beaters are covered in silicone so they don't damage my plastic bowls. I recommend this if you need one or if you are like me and using it as a stepping stone to a stand mixer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow! This kitchenaid 6 speed hand mixer is incredible. It is lightweight and super easy to use. Most importantly the flex edge beaters have significantly reduced amount of time I need to mix. In the past I have also had to pause and scrape ingredients on the side of the bowl while I mixed. However, the flex edge beaters allow me to easily get all the ingredients off the side of the bowl without making a ton of noise. This is a must have kitchen staple. I highly recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This KitchenAid 6 Speed Hand Mixer with Flex Edge Beaters is a wonderful addition to my kitchen. It's lightweight, beautiful, and very useful. These amazing Flex Edge Beaters seem to blend faster than my traditional metal beaters. The Flex Edge on these beaters also reduces the noisy clattering sound that traditional metal beaters create. It's much more pleasant task blending when the beaters touch the sides or bottom of my mixing bowls. The six speed power control makes it very versatile. So far I've successfully used it to make whipped mashed potatoes, dalgona coffee, and meringue. I love the genius, small attachment that securely fastens to the bottom of the mixer. It holds the beaters horizontally on the underside the mixer. It pops right into the space the beaters pop into, and out of. It's a real space saver and it securely stores the appliance and all its accessories together. I raved to my family at Thanksgiving how fantastic this hand mixer is! I highly recommend this wonderful Kitchenaid kitchen handheld mixer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I only received my mixer in December and when I went to insert the whisk, l accidentally turned the mixer on & the plastic piece that holds the beater broke into pieces. I threw the mixer out & returned to using my old one. I was so disappointed that it broke so easily.

I also like the feature of storing the beaters on the mixer so I don't have to go & look for them when I use it.

It is difficult to get the blades into the mixer, it's as if you have to put a specific blade into a specific slot. The quality of the plastic is questionable. However, it does mix very well and the rubber on the blades is very nice because it does hinder the loud metal noise that I had with my previous hand mixer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works well, not as strong as the 7 speed I had used for years. Still ok for cookie doughs that are stiff. Beaters interchangeable so if one set needing washing, can use the others, a plus for someone who cooks and bakes a lot.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As with all our KitchenAid products, we are thrilled with this one as well. Compact but powerful. Love the storage functionality as well. The beaters attach to the base in a parallel fashion making storage super easy. The flex edge beaters really do make a difference...very quiet!
