The KitchenAid reputation precedes itself. The mixer is the best I have ever used. It’s lightweight and performs like a dream. I am so excited to get an automatic mixer as this is supposed to lock into the Self mixer and I cannot wait to try it. The only thing I wish is that I had the self mixer to utilize this in its full capacity now!!!! Try this mixer you will be happy you did.

I always get nervous to first turn it on because my last mixer would immediately get flower and sugar all over my kitchen even on the low setting; this one does not. It mixes perfectly w/ NO mess. I love that the beaters are covered in silicone so they don't damage my plastic bowls. I recommend this if you need one or if you are like me and using it as a stepping stone to a stand mixer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My KitchenAid hand mixer works great. I love my ice blue color. The six speeds help control your speed while mixing from slow to very fast. The beaters are very easy to put in and to take out of the mixer with easy-to-read instructions on how to do both, the beaters have a flex edge on them that cover more surface area while mixing, the whisk work great. The beaters and whisk are dish washer safe, and the mixer wipes off easy. All the beaters clip onto the front into an integrated storage clip on the bottom of the mixer for quick storage.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Before I got this, I had always owned a mixer from a competitor and I thought that it's lowest speed was what was "normal" for hand mixers. It broke and I decided to get this mixer, as it was recommended to me. This is LEAPS and BOUNDS better than the comparable competitors mixer. The lowest speed doesn't throw flour or powdered sugar AT ALL. The flex edge beaters are quiet but work very well and the whisk attachment made making whipped cream from scratch super quick and easy. Although there is an attachment to put on the mixer to store the beaters and whisk in, I wish there was a plastic cover that enclosed them to further protect them. Overall, this is my favorite hand mixer I've owned so far.

I compared this mixer to another without the flex edge beaters and noticed that it does do a better job of mixing all of my ingredients quickly and evenly. Another added plus is that they do not leave scratches on my metal bowls. I love the convenience of the storage attachment so I won’t lose any pieces. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve miss placed my mixer attachments!! Overall, a great hand mixer to have.

First thing I love is the little rubber tips A.K.A the Flex Edge Beaters , they make for a really quiet mixer. They also mix so smoothly and are super easy to clean. Another great feature is the included whisk, and the 6 smooth speeds. Lastly this mixer includes this cool rubber cover that all the pieces fit onto for neat storing. Great product.

The speed control is easy to use and gives me a more adequate choice with different ingredients, especially the ability to use slower speeds. It has resulted in better taste results. The storage of the beaters is very efficient and convenient.

The beaters attach to the base in a parallel fashion making storage super easy. The flex edge beaters really do make a difference...very quiet!
