[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 3M sent me a free sample of this new tape. I tried it and it is nice! Smooth motion without any of that awkward snapping. There is no sticky residual at the end of tape. Tough and durable too. A nice winner.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Scotch Box Lock Packaging tape from 3M for an honest review. I really like the design of the dispenser. It is a durable plastic that you can apply pressure to as you put the tape to seal the box. Once you start the beginning of the roll you slide t through the 2 tabs so you will never lose the end. Place the beginning of the tape onto the box where you wish to begin and pull on the dispenser across the top of the box until you reach where you want to end. Gently press the gripped area on the side of the dispenser and twist to cut the tape easily and still keeping the end of the tape securely in the tabs so you no longer have to search the entire roll for the end of the tape. You only need to use one strip across the top and bottom of the box for security. No need to add extra rows because this tape is super sticky!! I would absolutely recommend this to friends and family especially if you are one to mail out boxes around holiday time. You get quite a bit of tape on the roll too so it will last for quite a few boxes. Will have to try this out on my moving boxes when I pack up because it worked excellent for the package I mailed to California!! Super easy to use!!

The tape cut quick and cleanly with the built-in cutting edge. Also, the tape adhered evenly to all parts of used boxes, torn, dirty, glossy, etc.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product free from 3M. I love a good packaging tape. They are useful for many types of projects or needs. This product advertises as being a good tape for cardboard boxes, and I agree! Sometimes when I package up a box, I have to press and rub all of the spots of tape connected to the package to ensure the tape adheres. Even still, I worry about it not sticking as well. I pressed this box lock tape onto my package, rubbing in all the spots, and you can "see" it adhere to the package. There is not a feeling of is it going to stay or being able to see it pulling off the package after you just applied it. I am pleased with its stickability.

It is easy to use and tapes boxes so well that you only need one strip of tape to securely close any box. I like that it is easy to start and stop the tape and it is easy to tear. This is a high quality roll of packaging tape and definitely makes sealing boxes a lot easier and more secure. I definitely recommend this product.

They’ll be down there for a few years so the boxes need to stay dust and bug free. Once I sealed the box, I tried to peel some of it back and it’s not going anywhere! I feel confident that our belongings will stay safe.

It is amazing to find a tape like this since most of them are too thin and they easily break. 3M gave me a free sample of this product to evaluate.
