It took a singe strip to close up a box that I was shipping and I have confidence that it will continue to hold for the shipping journey. What a time a money saver! Love this product!.

I usually spend the extra $ for Scotch brand packing, shipping and box tape because they adhere well, but most importantly when I lose the end it is easy to find and peel up with my fingernails.. I can get the tape back to the full width with minimal loss.The lot of tape I got for moving last year and continue to use is horrid! When I lose an end, it is difficult to find, it shreds, and when I'm finally able to get it to the full width, I've lost 6-8” of tape. It was this experience with cheap tape that made me a Scotch brand tape loyal customer. I am very disappointed with what I consider a degradation in the quality of the product. I am sure it is thinner which is probably why the end Is so difficult to find and peel. I will not buy this product again.

One strip of the tape and my donation boxes had a nice secure hold. Easy to find the start to the tape and it went on smooth and instantly sealed the box closed. Excellent product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tape is great. A lot thicker than the standard so it doesn't sliver and it's got some major stick to it. The tape itself is the best I've ever used and will definitely be buying again. The little dispenser however, has room for improvement. I've never liked those mini dispensers because they tend to be awkward and pop apart while using. Maybe a size in between the mini and the large tape gun would find an audience.

It sticks securely and quickly without the need to press the tape down after or make multiple passes of tape on the box. You can feel by the thickness of the tape how strong it is and I was not disappointed. One strip of tape was considerably stronger than even three strips of the standard stuff. 10 out of 10, I will never use a different, sub-par packing tape again!

I used it this weekend to tape streamers to our wooden deck for my daughter's birthday party. I loved that it was a clear tape so no one could see it. It worked like a charm, and it didn't come off until I removed it this morning (in the rain). The Scotch Box Lock Shipping Tape works great for sealing packages and a whole lot more! Lots of waste with other shipping tape as the holder is too loose, the tape holder doesn't work and when you go peel it off the roll it just shreds into many pieces, or the tape gets crumpled and you just throw away. Not with this product.
