I used it this weekend to tape streamers to our wooden deck for my daughter's birthday party. I loved that it was a clear tape so no one could see it. It worked like a charm, and it didn't come off until I removed it this morning (in the rain). The Scotch Box Lock Shipping Tape works great for sealing packages and a whole lot more! I received this as a free sample from 3M.

Total weight of the box + return was about 5 pounds. I purchased a box and used the Scotch Box Lock Packaging Tape. I was impressed with how much more durable it felt compared to some other packaging tape that I have. I am an "over secure" packer meaning I run multiple lines of tape over the same seam. I have got in the habit of this over the years due to inferior packaging tapes that had me questioning whether the tape would hold. For the first time in a long time, I only taped the seams JUST ONCE using the Scotch Box Lock Packaging Tape. It truly has a secure tight bond that puts me at ease. Return was sent and successfully received. 3M gave me a free sample of this product to evaluate. I plan on purchasing this and using this as my "go to" tape for future packaging.

For example, when I repainted my kitchen table, I put all of the hardware on my tape so it didn't get lost! What I love most about the 3M-Scotch Box Lock packaging tape is that it is easy to cut a small piece and easy to pull and cut a long piece. It is very sticky, yet somehow it doesn't stick to itself when using on a box. It sure sticks firmly when I close up a box for storage.

If it twists on you and sticks to itself, you might as well just cut it because it won't let loose; not that this is an issue as I purposely caused this just to see. Another great product!

I packed a box to ship and then used this 3M Scotch Box Lock Shipping Tape to tape it all up as the box was traveling 800 miles. As I taped it up, it was so quiet to use that I dreamed about my days of yesteryear of liking to play quiet tennis. It's like regular tennis but no one raises a racquet. Box made it to destination safely and the receiver said the tape held up 100% and wasn't peeling off the box at all! Thanks, 3M for another decent, worth-while product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tape is great. A lot thicker than the standard so it doesn't sliver and it's got some major stick to it. The tape itself is the best I've ever used and will definitely be buying again. The little dispenser however, has room for improvement. I've never liked those mini dispensers because they tend to be awkward and pop apart while using. Maybe a size in between the mini and the large tape gun would find an audience.

For starters, I love that it was easy to find the start of the roll. This tape grips securely, and I did not feel like I had to use layer after layer.
