[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have always used Scotch packing tape in our home but this one is a little nice upgrade. It is slightly thicker and goes on the box easily. We used to buy a roll and cut off the tape with scissors. Over time, the scissors would be sticky and the blades a little stuck due to the glue residue. This Box Lock tape comes with a tape cutter for your convenience! It is durable and truly a solid product. I received a sample from 3M but the opinions are my own.

I used it to reuse a box, previously received that I wanted to reuse to ship something. Tape is thicker than the normal one I use, it also did not get all stuck and matted together.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Scotch Box Lock Packing Tape is a great product for those who either mail a lot of packages or need to store boxes. With an easy start tab, the tape rips easily and accurately against the jagged edge/teeth. It sticks great (and immediately) to boxes, but is also easy to remove from surface if you need to readjust the tape's location. I also like how easily the tape rolls on the roller ... it didn't seem to stick as some other tape brands are prone to do. 3M provided me a free sample for my honest, unbiased opinion.

It's definitely thicker and doesn't fray/tear when it's not supposed to, yet it has great sticking power. You won't be disappointed when you use it. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I usually use a different brand of shipping tape but I recently tried the Scotch brand Box Lock Shipping Tape and was surprised with how great it worked! I had a few boxes I wanted to tape up and this tape adhesive is strong and held them sealed! The roll was easy to get started, stays stuck to the dispenser for easy finding, is thicker, and tears straight across without slivering, splitting, or tearing, unlike my regular brand of shipping tape! It's also easy to use with one hand while multitasking, I just wish it had more tape on the roll than provided with this brand. If you're looking for shipping tape, look no further! I recieved the product free from 3M.

This tape is a one strip and done deal which there alone makes it cost effective. No more need to use three or four strips to ensure your box is secure! So easy to use just like their other tape but strong for the tough jobs!

The tape is thick so you don't have to worry about it breaking apart in transit. The dispenser is easy to use, keeps the tape ready so you don't have to search for the end each time you need yo use it.

It was easy to cut as well. It stuck well to my package and didn't split or tear at any point as I was applying it. Good quality tape!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We recently had to pack up my in laws for a move and this tape works perfect for taping up cardboard boxes. The dispenser is the perfect size for quick and easy dispensing. The tape was snug on the boxes and held up strong! The dispenser has a great edge that allowed the tape to be cut from the dispenser routinely and didn't stick. The tape size is nice, and like to use less, than more. Other tapes I've used in the past, I do one tape down the crease, and then sometimes another piece of tape on both sides of the original tape I used, so in fact I'm using three pieces of tape instead of only one. Of the number of boxes we used, we didn't have any issues. This tape is the real deal, we will definitely use it more frequently! We received this in the mail to try, and couldn't be happier.

Usually you get tape that is hard to tare or tares too easily. But this was great. I highly recommend this for all your packaging needs.
