It took a singe strip to close up a box that I was shipping and I have confidence that it will continue to hold for the shipping journey. What a time a money saver! Love this product!.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tape is everything I've been looking for for my small business. It is quiet, comes off smoothly and super thick! I will definitely be buying more. 3M did send me a roll of this packing tape in exchange for an honest review.

Used 2/3 of the tape and then the tape starts tearing and I have to run the roll out until it is the width of the roll to use it (and cut off the narrow part).Then it did it again, i.e. somehow got a narrow width, have to run it out ....I am going to throw the rest of the roll out.

It’s definitely thicker and doesn’t fray/tear when it’s not supposed to, yet it has great sticking power. You won’t be disappointed when you use it. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received this free from 3M and am impressed. This shipping tape is strong, durable, and easy to use. Lots of waste with other shipping tape as the holder is too loose, the tape holder doesn't work and when you go peel it off the roll it just shreds into many pieces, or the tape gets crumpled and you just throw away. Not with this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We recently had to pack up my in laws for a move and this tape works perfect for taping up cardboard boxes. The dispenser is the perfect size for quick and easy dispensing. The tape was snug on the boxes and held up strong! The dispenser has a great edge that allowed the tape to be cut from the dispenser routinely and didn’t stick. The tape size is nice, and like to use less, than more. Other tapes I’ve used in the past, I do one tape down the crease, and then sometimes another piece of tape on both sides of the original tape I used, so in fact I’m using three pieces of tape instead of only one. Of the number of boxes we used, we didn’t have any issues. This tape is the real deal, we will definitely use it more frequently! We received this in the mail to try, and couldn’t be happier.

It is super easy to use and is really tough and holds strong.Easy to start the tape and that is a big plus. perfect size for storage.

I usually spend the extra $ for Scotch brand packing, shipping and box tape because they adhere well, but most importantly when I lose the end it is easy to find and peel up with my fingernails.. I can get the tape back to the full width with minimal loss.The lot of tape I got for moving last year and continue to use is horrid! When I lose an end, it is difficult to find, it shreds, and when I’m finally able to get it to the full width, I’ve lost 6-8” of tape. It was this experience with cheap tape that made me a Scotch brand tape loyal customer. I am very disappointed with what I consider a degradation in the quality of the product. I am sure it is thinner which is probably why the end Is so difficult to find and peel. I will not buy this product again.

Total weight of the box + return was about 5 pounds. I purchased a box and used the Scotch Box Lock Packaging Tape. I was impressed with how much more durable it felt compared to some other packaging tape that I have. I am an "over secure" packer meaning I run multiple lines of tape over the same seam. I have got in the habit of this over the years due to inferior packaging tapes that had me questioning whether the tape would hold. For the first time in a long time, I only taped the seams JUST ONCE using the Scotch Box Lock Packaging Tape. It truly has a secure tight bond that puts me at ease. Return was sent and successfully received. 3M gave me a free sample of this product to evaluate. I plan on purchasing this and using this as my "go to" tape for future packaging.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Scotch Box Lock Packaging Tape is very nice to use. I use mine for projects as well as mailing and shipping items. The design of the handle makes it easy to tape and cut without messing up the tape. It tapes quickly but relatively quietly. It is so easy. The tape itself is sturdy and durable and has really good adhesive. Best part is that when you pull the tape, the whole thing comes and it doesn't split into pieces or leave a piece stuck to the roll and you only have a tiny sliver pulled out. Just pull the tape out and squeeze the sides when ready to cut it. The blades are super sharp too so be careful. I also used it to laminate one of my kids play business cards she made. It also stuck pretty well to our walls to hang a paper up. I definitely recommend trying. So much easier than other packaging tape dispensers I have tried. 3M sent me a roll of this tape for testing purposes but the opinions here are based on my own experiences.
