[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was surprised by how thin this Box Lock tape felt since I typically use the heavy duty packing tape. The adhesive was super smooth and the tape pulled off the roll really easily without the typical packing tape unrolling noise. It stuck to my boxes well and I am confident it isn't coming off in transit. I received a free sample for my review, but I'll be picking more up when I run out.

It doesn't do what other rolls do, making that horrible noise when you use it. You can also feel the thickness of the tape and know it has you covered. This tape would be great for packaging up your most precious items for shipping or even for moving.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The tape is nice and thick and I was a little skeptical about it's sticking abilities because of that thickness until I actually sealed a box with it. It sticks. It also unrolls smoothly and it's easily cut with the built in cutter on the dispenser. This smaller roll is also easier to grip and use but would obviously run out a lot quicker than the larger roll so I feel this size is best for those who want a sturdy tape but don't use it as often. If you ship/pack items more often, a larger roll would be a better bet.

I ship things out all the time and this product is amazing because the tape sticks instantly to any box or package. The tape we had before you had to smooth down a lot or you had to use lots of it to get it to stick to cardboard. This is heavy duty sticky tape. I highly recommend for anyone who packages with cardboard.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the ease of applying the packaging tape to my boxes. The tape secures well to the flaps and keeps my contents inside the box. I feel the stickiness is very good for this packing tape. The dispenser works well on tearing the tape at the right spot and length.

I usually spend the extra $ for Scotch brand packing, shipping and box tape because they adhere well, but most importantly when I lose the end it is easy to find and peel up with my fingernails.. I can get the tape back to the full width with minimal loss.The lot of tape I got for moving last year and continue to use is horrid! When I lose an end, it is difficult to find, it shreds, and when I'm finally able to get it to the full width, I've lost 6-8” of tape. It was this experience with cheap tape that made me a Scotch brand tape loyal customer. I am very disappointed with what I consider a degradation in the quality of the product. I am sure it is thinner which is probably why the end Is so difficult to find and peel. I will not buy this product again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tape is so powerful!!!!! It sticks to anything you need to. You do not have to use too much tape to really seal something. It is amazing to find a tape like this since most of them are too thin and they easily break. 3M gave me a free sample of this product to evaluate.

It was easy to use as I box up some mailings and I was amazed at the sharpness of the cutter. Overall I was thrilled with the ease, quick release and use of this tape. I highly reccomend for those of us who use mailing tape a lot.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I usually use a different brand of shipping tape but I recently tried the Scotch brand Box Lock Shipping Tape and was surprised with how great it worked! I had a few boxes I wanted to tape up and this tape adhesive is strong and held them sealed! The roll was easy to get started, stays stuck to the dispenser for easy finding, is thicker, and tears straight across without slivering, splitting, or tearing, unlike my regular brand of shipping tape! It's also easy to use with one hand while multitasking, I just wish it had more tape on the roll than provided with this brand. If you're looking for shipping tape, look no further! I recieved the product free from 3M.

I packed a box to ship and then used this 3M Scotch Box Lock Shipping Tape to tape it all up as the box was traveling 800 miles. As I taped it up, it was so quiet to use that I dreamed about my days of yesteryear of liking to play quiet tennis. It's like regular tennis but no one raises a racquet. Box made it to destination safely and the receiver said the tape held up 100% and wasn't peeling off the box at all! Thanks, 3M for another decent, worth-while product!
