I was recently doing some packing and I wanted to compare this tape to standard packaging tape and this one was definitely better. I was able to use without much effort and it held the box tops very nice and tight without me having to double tape.

They'll be down there for a few years so the boxes need to stay dust and bug free. Once I sealed the box, I tried to peel some of it back and it's not going anywhere! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We recently had to pack up my in laws for a move and this tape works perfect for taping up cardboard boxes. The dispenser is the perfect size for quick and easy dispensing. The tape was snug on the boxes and held up strong! The dispenser has a great edge that allowed the tape to be cut from the dispenser routinely and didn't stick. The tape size is nice, and like to use less, than more. Other tapes I've used in the past, I do one tape down the crease, and then sometimes another piece of tape on both sides of the original tape I used, so in fact I'm using three pieces of tape instead of only one. Of the number of boxes we used, we didn't have any issues. This tape is the real deal, we will definitely use it more frequently! We received this in the mail to try, and couldn't be happier.

The tape is thick so you don't have to worry about it breaking apart in transit. The dispenser is easy to use, keeps the tape ready so you don't have to search for the end each time you need yo use it.

It is easy to use and tapes boxes so well that you only need one strip of tape to securely close any box. I like that it is easy to start and stop the tape and it is easy to tear. This is a high quality roll of packaging tape and definitely makes sealing boxes a lot easier and more secure. I definitely recommend this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Scotch box lock packing tape is a nice size. I liked that it is easy to open and cuts evenly. I used it to repair a box that had come unglued. The tape has a quality adhesive backing. it holds well and didn't seem to wrinkle as I applied it to the box. The cutting edge is easy to use and isn't too wide. The teeth on the edge cut the tape evenly without pulling or separating it. I liked the heavyweight feel of the tape as well as the clear quality. 3M sent me a free sample product to review.
