Hello. There could be multiple reasons why you're not receiving mobile notifications. Ensure that your smartphone has a stable internet connection, ensure that Notifications are enabled in your profile, and check your smartphone settings and ensure that Notifications are enabled for both the phone and the Kidde app. If this doesn’t resolve the issue then the fact that the alarm went off proves the alarm is working but either the alarm is not correctly set up with your Wi-Fi network, the alarm is having issues connecting with your Wi-Fi network, or that the alarm is not properly set up with the Kidde App. Let me get you to try deleting the alarm from the app and do a full reset on the alarm. Using a metal screwdriver or a paper clip, apply a direct short to the two metal contacts on the bottom of the device three times within two seconds. See figure 6.2 in the owner’s manual, page 8. Then reset up the alarm with your Wi-Fi and your app. If this doesn’t resolve the issue, please call us with the alarm in hand and while on site at 1-844-796-9972 so we can figure out what is going on and get this resolved.
