First, 3.5 years and my pool is still in great shape. In my location and I suspect many other homes do 2 things when you install your pool. Level your ground with a laser level .. It is that critical! Second forget concrete pavers of any size or thickness. First time almost all mine broke. I strongly suggest using pressure treated 6- 2x10's x 16 feet in length. By using this support system the load is transferred throughout the board and will never collapse, break or fail! Again, laser level these boards. I have ran my cheap little Intex pump non stop 24/7. It keeps my pool clean and the Intex 2801E pool cleaner I let it run continually unless we are swimming. It's also the best way of spreading the liquid chlorine I use. I don't believe in tabs. The CYA will eventually get to high for the chlorine to work. Again strongly recommend you use and pay attention to what "Trouble Free Pools" website recommend. Forget the useless pool stores. In 10 years I've never had a problem taking care of my pool. If you ever have a leak, "patch it" you don't throw in-ground pools away if they have a leak ... GEESH! And they cost $50,000 Enjoy your new Intex pool, I have and my family and guest do to. Oh yes I use my house as a vacation rental too .. No problems.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am in love with my Intex Ultra XTR Frame 14' x 42" Round Above Ground Outdoor Swimming Pool Set!!!! This pool is a dream come true literally! It comes with the sand liner,pump,ladder,and so much more!! The set up was so easy! It took us and hour or so tops!! It’s easy to maintain. It’s so much bigger than I thought too which is great. We now spend all weekend in our new pool!!!! I wish I could give this pool ten stars!!

I felt so trashy buying this pool at first - was so worried about how it would look, but it is the best thing we did and wish we had done it so much sooner. To be fair, my husband is a contractor and has access to heavy machinery to level the spot and build a nice deck and that helps the appearance, but still after 2 years the pool is in great shape. Bought a separate set of steps and a scupper to help with filtering. We filled with our own well, took a few days. We leave it up all winter long, we drain below the pump and store it in the winter, but the pool itself has stood outside through freezing temperatures and ice here in SW Virginia. Looks almost brand new, no rust on poles, only a few bleach stains in the bottom where the tablets fell out of the bobber.

I would not recommend this pool! The pool was full and the liner ripped down the side causing over 14,000 gallons of water to flood my home and yard. Intex customer service was a joke! They did send a replacement liner 3 weeks after the pool collapsed and informed me that I would have to send at least 4 of the damaged poles, at my expense, before they would send replacement poles.

I received yesterday 11/14/23 I will update review once it’s put up and in use but so far everything’s going smoothly from the delivery to my garage. My Family super excited for us to be able to put up this coming spring And enjoy swimming and having family time together. So thankful that we were chosen to review this product for you and like I said, I will update as soon as we can actually put it up in the spring.

Awesome pool. Set it up in May and enjoyed it until mid Sept. Salt water system was awesome and easy to regulate. Winterized it and covered it. All was going well until mid Feb. a raccoon decided to investigate it. He put three holes near the bottom of one end. Sadly we have to drain the pool. The holes can be patched, but we will have to access it in the spring. So be wary of Raccoons. They're claws will cut through the liner like butter.

Very nice pool.Perfect size for a large family. The hardest part is getting the ground completely level. Assembly took approximately 3 hours with two people. I purchased the skimmer that Intex offers it's a great addition.. I love the sand filter and we'll be adding the saltwater system soon.

Im only giving it a 1 star as the 0 star wasnt an aption. The framing is not as sturdy as it looks. The pool was almost at full level and the sidewall collapsed and the metal side supports buckled. Needless to say our yard is now a muddy and mushy mess. I’ve tried several times to call Intex with no answer. Thankfully we purchased through Walmart

Even though I will have to wait until summer (will give an update then) my grandparents had a similar pool and absolutely loved it. I love that it comes with everything you need (minus the chemicals you need) to get all set up and ready for use.
