it is hugh. i love it. my grandson can still stand up in it while he learns how to swim.

This Intex 16x32x52 was so easy to set up. In a matter of 4 hours my husband and a friend had it done. It’s extremely important to level your ground with sand and give that soft feel to your feet when swimming as opposed to the hard ground. This should be redone every 5 years. Enjoy!

Well designed. Assembled pool over 2 day's by myself. Used tractor to lift long sides. Connections are very easy. I used 1 inch thick ridged insulation, taped together with Gorilla tape over level ground. Ground cloth on top insulation. Used 9 bags of sale.

We were blessed enough to find this pool back down to the pre pandemic price in February of 2021 and it is wonderful!!! This pool is awesome! It’s enormous and the rectangular shape is such a smart idea. We were told this is the size of standard in-ground pools?! This was also much more budget friendly for us vs having a local pool store install one. *MAKE SURE to 1: read other people’s reviews and suggestions, you’ll be thankful you did!!! And 2: level your ground!! You cannot get around that. We hired a local handyman to do it and that was money well spent to not have to worry about our pool collapsing. It wasn’t as easy to put together as the instructions say—there were 5 of us and we did it in about 2 hours. When connecting the poles and putting them through the liner, use some baby powder on them and it will ease your frustrations. Also definitely put paving stones under those legs! It’s going to sink if you don’t. FYI: TFP has helped us with just about an question/concern we’ve had. We upgraded a lot of things per the reviews of others. Like the saltwater chlorinator, which probably was the best decision we could have ever made. Y’all, it’s been up over 2 months, and all the “chemicals” we’ve put in are algae treatment one time, and shocked it once as well. This water has been sparkling the entire time. We also upgraded the ladder, added a fountain for that soothing sound, magnetic light, and made a PVC “cradle” of sorts to hang/hide our solar cover and other large items. I could go on and on about this pool. Actually I’m floating in it right now as I write this review! Lol. If you’re on the fence about it and it’s in your budget and you won’t be pool poor, I suggest taking the leap!!

We love this pool! This is our second pool like this. Our first pool lasted, almost 10 years. We set it up and never took it down. It lasted for many years of enjoyment, so of course, when it was time to get a new one, we just bought the same one again! We already know we will be more than satisfied.

Unfortunately, one of the boxes arrived damaged, resulting in damage to the pool liner. The damage to the liner rendered it useless. Thankfully both Wal-Mart and Intex were wonderful to work with to secure a replacement liner. We are currently waiting for the replacement liner to arrive, at which time I will update my review.

Pool is amazing!! The filter not so much. It has already broken after just a few months. Next season I will be buying a new one. Set up took a few people a few hours. Filling the pool took a few days with well water to fill and the kids had an absolute blast all summer in it. Ladder is garbage though.

The product is fine, the quality is satisfactory, and the instructions are MOSTLY clear. During installation, however, you'll find that some necessary pieces are "not provided". When installing the pool, the user is instructed to place VERY thick pressure treated wood under the supports for the walls which I priced at close to $750 at my local lumber store. The pump tank support base has two holes for mounting. The instructions tell you size of these holes, but are not included with the product. The drain/waste outlet on the 6-way valve on the pump does not come with a hose. "The third hose connection port [...] shall be directed to a proper draining receptacle using a hose or pipe (not provided)." I found this to be the most frustrating and infuriating part of the pump installation. To make this worse, the user can't know that they're missing these necessary components until reading the instructions, which won't be found until opening the packaging and unloading this massive product and its many pieces from the packaging. I wish I could have known how to prepare for installation and bought all the necessary parts before unloading everything from the packaging. If you purchase this product, find the instructions for the pool installation and the separate instructions for the pump installation first. Read them and buy the parts you need before opening the rest of the packaging.

This was a gift for my children. I paid a professional company to put it up and a ton of money for water. My youngest was so excited to watch them out it up and fill it only to have his heart broken when they said it had a hole in it. Many creases and scrapes on it from poor packaging. I am await the replacement but must pay the set-up and water fee again as no one works for free.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. Will never purchase an Intex product again!! I received this pool on 06/27/23. Assembled it and there were two holes in the liner out of the box (wouldn’t hold water). Called Intex- they sent a replacement liner, but I had to wait nearly two weeks for it through the claim process. Approximately one week after receiving the replacement liner, the pump went out. Called Intex again and had one of the WORST customer service experiences of my life. I am receiving a replacement pump, but will have to wait approximately 2 weeks for it. Which means I will have to spend a fortune in chemicals or drain and start over after the water sits for weeks without a working pump. The size of the pool is great, but that is about the only positive thing I have to say. Almost 2k into this pool and other Intel accessories, and nearly a month later, I still don’t have a working pool and won’t for weeks. But I will have water bills well over $1000 for the two fill-ups I’ve wasted b/c of receiving defective parts from Intex. I understand there is a warranty process, but when a customer is less than 30 days from purchase and delivery on a seasonal item, rush shipping the replacement parts should happen. I invested a great deal of my time and money into an Intex product, and summer will be over and school back in session when I will FINALLY have a working pool two weeks from now. You pay a little more for Intex b/c you assume you are getting a quality product and that is definitely not the case.
