Bought this dryer (as part of a combo purchase with the washer) during the labor day 2023 sales events with great expectation; i am testing it today - Sept 10th with a few clothes. I was jolted by the sudden and totally unexpected noise from the "Vent System Test"; no where was it stated in the manual to expect this noise. My hope and expectation have been completely dashed by the vibration, the squealing /grinding/deafening noise coming from this device. Noise was audible from all the adjoining rooms to the laundry room. This can't be normal, I am disappointed and I don't recommend this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased my washer and dryer at the same time. They look great and are easy to use. At first, the clothes were still a bit damp. However, I adjusted the dryness and it was good after that. I hope the dryer (and washer) could be more controllable with the Smartthings. I do not see much benefit of using Smartthings with the Samsung washer and dryer yet.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the Samsung Bespoke washer and dryer (electric) in December 2022 and have loved it ever since. It is sleek beautiful and a modern (timeless) black color. Since we also moved into our new home at the same time, we have received tons of compliments from all our friends and family who came to our new house warming party. We also bought the pedestals which have been an awesome decision. It makes storage so much easier. Additionally it makes the front load door at a reasonably eight and I dont have to bend much. We also installed the app that goes with this and it is so cool coz it tells us how long is the cycle going to run, what is the electricity consumption, etc. Loving it ! Ah... one last thing - it comes with a rack for the shoes which has been a huge plus given we have kids in school.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this dryer as a matched set to the matching Bespoke Washer. It has many pre-sets and the ability to customize your own. It also has a Steam setting so no more wrinkled clothes. The Smart Things app connects your phone to the Washer and Dryer and gives you the ability to control them from your phone. You are also notified on your phone or TV that a load has finished washing or drying which is really handy. This is a great dryet.

The AI is bad. Clothes are never dry because the AI stops the dryer prematurely. Even when I set a 1-hour cycle, it stops in the middle and I get a message saying the laundry is done. I either need to air dry the clothes or restart the cycle. DO NOT BUY THIS.

Day 1 - contacted customer service because dryer never completely dries clothes. Followed their suggestions and troubleshooting steps. Very annoying to have to manually turn off eco mode for every cycle. Several months later, I still have not had a full cycle complete without having to run a manual time cycle to completely dry my clothes. Like the dryer sensor doesn’t detect damp clothes. Love the size and the matching washer is great.

After almost two years the dryer doesn't stop spinning. Even after I turn it off, when I close the door it spins even dough it is off. We tried cleaning the vents, resetting the circuit and nothing works. Videos on you tube show how to fix it but I feel like this should not happen. The comments in the video say that many people have problems like mine and some of the comments are dated 7 years back. So how come Samsung doesn't fix this problem for 7 years? They invest in Smart things , functions such as starting your circle remotely but what we need is just working dryer. If I can't turn it in/off and it keeps spinning all this functions are USLESS .

Louie in the review's, and I have had the same issue with the dog fur(I also have 2 dog's), and I am adequate with cleaning out the washer's & dryer's, before I turn them on. And, like Louie, I found a glob of dog fur at the seal of the front door of the washer. And, the door started to leak a little bit. Now, I know there was no debris along the seal & door. Now, I also noticed, that the door latch(Opposite side of the door, of the hinge), was a bit loose, and I don't know if it's made this way, or not. So, maybe it could have played a factor in the leak, or not, I am not sure. And, I did notice the screw's to be tightened down, so maybe it's to help self center itself, to be grabbed and pulled evenly? But, other than the issue with the dog fur collecting at the door seal, there really isn't any real problem's, other than I haven't found a way to turn off the ending alarm sound, like you can do with the older style's of washer's & dryer's. But, it does definitely clean better than the top load washer's do.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought these as a stackable & also purchased the control kit to be able to control the dryer from the washer, at first it did not work when they were installed, after a tech was sent out, it was fixed & works well. As for my 4 Star review, some settings on drying like the Normal seem to turn off prior to items being dry, so the best setting to use is the Time Dry to avoid that happening.

Simple and easy to operate. It comes with AI technology that adds convenience in operating this appliance. It automatically senses the weight of the load so the appropriate length of time to dry the clothes. Just load these clothes in and pick normal setting and th AI does the trick! Very smart! Love them both!
