Thank you for sharing this with us! There's nothing more important to us than the quality of our products, which is why they go through strict quality checks! Always Discreet Heavy Long pads are urinary incontinence pads designed to absorb urine, which is thinner than menstrual fluid. The scent you noticed comes from the fine-fragrance-inspired premium scent used as part of the OdorLock™ technology. This technology is a mixture of compounds that mask odors instantly and continuously. The presence of the scent is communicated on the side of the package next to the icon instructing you not to dispose in the toilet. For the best period protection, we recommend Always Infinity pads. They are designed to absorb menstrual fluid and are available in unscented. So we can learn more about your experience and help you find the best product to meet your needs, please give us a call at (855) 206-8286, 9 am-6 pm EST, Monday-Friday.

We do put a lot of thought into the design of our products, and the scent you noticed comes from our exclusive OdorLock technology made of a mixture of compounds that neutralizes odors but also imparts a slight scent. We'll be sure to share your feedback with our team, and you're welcome to give us a call at (855) 206-8286 if there's anything more we can assist you with.
