I wasn't sure what to expect when ordering a metal play set but it was relatively straightforward to assemble. There were two steps where I needed a second person. One was getting the roof on top. The other involved two screws in the very center of the tower over and under the floor. My arms just aren't that long and I didn't feel like going inside for tape. The play set is rock solid. There were slight issues with leveling that were easily solved by sliding the slightly higher foot back and forth. Sometimes you had to dig a tiny bit under it so the dirt loosened by sliding had somewhere to go. I will say the plastic flooring for the tower was a bit confusing. No matter what I did, it would not sit the way it was supposed to. However, it was near a good stopping point for the day so I just left it until the next day and the problem solved itself. Sitting flat in the sun allowed the two plastic floors to interlock the way they were supposed to easily. I guess they were slightly warped from travel and needed to flatten out. The top of the slide had a bit of a similar problem with being curved while I was trying to screw it in. A day in the sun fixed that too. Also, the kids LOVE this thing. We put a sand box under the tower. They are always out climbing all over this thing. So are their friends. P.S. Don't put the steering wheel on until last. Getting the swing set bar on around that thing is a PITA.

Kids absolutely love this swing set, quality materials. The anchor system i feel should be sturdier. We used the two cable anchors sent to anchor down the monkey bars, and anchored the tower down inside with 4 fence post tied down, the play set survived 70+ MPH wind with no shifting or damage!

This a great play set for our children 1,4&6. The material is good quality and we set it up on the grass. We had to hire somebody to put it together which took 2 people over two days. It seemed too complicated for us, but we are not very handy. I think the kids will enjoy it for years to come. We also ordered a baby swing to replace the trapeze bar. The kids are very happy!

We have owned this playset for nearly 6 years. Our grandkids absolutely love it. It is very well-designed so that even the 3 year old can play safely on it. A few parts were worse for wear after a LOT of use and harsh NE winters. We were able to order replacement parts very easily and found customer service to be pleasant and helpful.

bought this for my grand childern ages from 5-12 and they absolutley love it and we do to the quality is amazing this is a very strong and extremely well made .so many activities for them to do its truly an awsome swing set would highly reccomend

The instructions were well written--lots of visuals. The materials were organized really well so it was easy to put together. It still took us a few days just because there are so many steps. The materials are great quality. This is going to last years and years!

The Lifetime Adventure Tower with Monkey Bars is durable, made of quality parts, and is plenty large enough to last a long time for our two kids who are currently 6 & 8. They have been playing on it non-stop since we set it up. The set up took my husband and I far less time than we were anticipating. It only took us one full day plus 1 hour the following day. And we took our time. It's a fantastic, solid structure. We couldn't be happier with this product! It truly is made to be the best of the best!

Assembly took quite awhile but it’s sturdy and going to last a long long time. There aren’t any bolts sticking out that can scratch or rust! My kids have played on it everyday!! It’s definitely worth the investment!! The extra bolts came in handy too!

Excellent swing set for my two kids (5&7). I was looking for something that would challenge by athletic 7 yo, but not be too frustrating for my 5 yo. This was a perfect fit. I see it getting years of use...even when this pandemic ends! Not too hard to put together and the directions were crystal clear. It took 1-2 of us working on it 2 solid days to complete.

Really nice, solid playset. My three-year-old was ecstatic to see it and can’t get enough of it. We’ve had it up for 10 weeks and so far we haven’t noticed any rust or problems. The swings are especially smooth and quiet. It arrived in a giant crate, earlier than expected. All of the required parts and hardware were present and in good shape. The only tools I think I used were a socket wrench and a drill. Big thing to know; it is time consuming and a little painful to assemble. The instructions are 70 or 80 pages long. I think I spent close to 20 hours on it (I understand that is still probably less effort than needed to assemble a wooden set). But, I was working mostly alone. Also, try hard to resist over tightening the bolts. I wanted to make it really snug and tight. But, sometimes the pipes would bend slightly out of round. I called Lifetime on the phone before I purchased and got good advice on which set would suit my needs and some technical specifics that weren’t on the website. Plus, I was given a 10% military discount. Two thumbs up on the purchase experience so far.
