I recently Bought this and used it the day of expiration-I had to throw it out. Bad smelling! However, when I have purchased in the past and I used it and cooked it several days before the expiration date and then no problem.

I had high hopes for this cod, only to the package and was hit with the foulest odor. It was so nauseating, there was no way we could have possibly eaten it. I do appreciate Sam's refunding my money.

Completely inedible. It was packed by Sams Club , I picked it up in a cooler, went straight home. 15 min later when putting it in the fridge noticed the revolting smell and had to go back and return it. It was far before the “sell by date”.

I bought this home and cooked it a few days before the "sell by" date. The fish was spoiled despite being kept cool the entire time. It was a cool day and my ride home was less than 10 minutes. Won't buy again

It has come to our attention that the "SKINLESS" COD FILLETS you buy at Sam's club are no longer completely SKINLESS. We usually buy 3-4 packages at a time. We don't want to pay for skin and shouldn't have to skin them ourselves.

We defrosted this fish in the sink and walked back like an hour later and it was so Fishy Smelling. When we opened it up the fish just fell apart. Worst fish we have ever bought. It isn’t like it was inexpensive fish.

I had early morning curbside pickup and the cod must have been out of refrigeration overnight because it was warm, and had horrible smell as if rotten. Store was on Milliken in Rancho Cucamonga

Cooked it up meal preps for dinners this week. I made a plate for my husband right away and found a worm. From what I read it's safe to eat but…. I just couldn't bring myself to eat it.

I bought one today((Mar 11) , it looks good and the best by day is Mar.17. But when I open it after getting home , the odor is very strong … I don't feel safe to feed my kid. When I read The ingredients , there is preservatives ….

And all I have to do is cook it! It's so fresh and so buttery! It's as though it was just pulled out of the water. You just have to try it, there's nothing better!
