Sorry bought this twice. The 1st one smelled terrible so I returned it and purchased it from another Club and it still had a smell but not as bad so I thought it was the packaging? I went ahead and grilled it. Unfortunately it was not fresh and possibly spoiled. I will never buy it again.

The cod was very salty. It also had a chemical taste. We had to throw it away. I seasoned individual pieces. Even the plain ones were very salty. I will be talking to customer service the next time I’m at the store. Warning , DO NOT waste your money.

Once I opened the package, my entire family came into the kitchen to say if that strange smell is coming from that fish, we’re not eating it. I rinsed it well and wrapped it in cheese cloth until it was dry. Once I threw out the cheese cloth the smell went away. I’m guessing there’s a solution used to preserve the fish. I’m glad I was able to dress it up and serve it but I won’t do that again. Good Fish should smell kinda like fresh soap. Not whatever this was.

I like the COD very much but don't like the packaging. It allows the fish to leak into the freezer where I store it. Also it is hard to dispose of since I cut the package up to dispose of it. I stopped buying it for that reason since I had to clean my freeze after I had stored it. Not worth the trouble I buy frozen prewrapped now and don't have to deal with the mess or smell

I regularly purchase Salmon and Trout and have been pleased. I purchased Cod for the first time last week and even though the expiration date was 6 days away, it smelled sooo bad! I rinsed it well but the smell lingered, ewww. I was happy that I was able to get a refund.

This had a very bad taste. I use to buy the individually wrapped Member's Mark Frozen Cod Loins and they were so good. This versions has a weird chemical taste. Will not buy again. Also I am forced to cook the whole thing at once. Please bring back the bags of Frozen Cod Loins.

The fish was spoiled; the smell was horrible. Sams did refund our money without question.

Packaging is weak, fish juice leaked on the drive home and the fish was rotten.
