Smelled very fishy after getting it home and opening the package. I had to throw it out. I believe it was bad before packaged.

The fish went bad a day after I brought it. The smell was horrendous. It was my first time buy fish like this from sams. Not sure I will do it again.

Fish had a very strong smell when we opened the package. Ate some and both my husband and I got sick that evening. Threw out the rest!

Nice,thick cod filets just like I like. They are great cooked many ways but I prefer mine broiled in a garlic and butter sauce!

Did not notice when we purchased it was one day away from sell by date. When we opened it the smell was horrible. The whole house had a very strong ammonia smell for a week. Threw it away didn’t want to take the chance eating it.

I used to buy frozen wild cod and wild salmon from Sam's before they switched to Member's Mark wild fish. the last MM wild cod was not expired and upon opening had a strong fishy almost spoiled smell. I proceeded to wash it and removed 3 fine bones. I didn't want to risk my kids health so I ended up throwing it out. Unfortunate! Now I just buy my wild fish from my local Jewel Osco.
