I love this ice maker! It’s quick, the ice is yummy and the space it takes up is perfect for my kitchen.

Great ice! I tried an off brand small ice marker but the ice does not stay as long as this one does. I have had an Opal before then tried the off brand but came back to the Ge! Highly recommend it!

Was delivered severely damaged. This item is only sold online. I am being asked to return to club for a refund and repurchase online. i was excited but unsure a replacement will be delivered without damage. So annoying and hugely inconvenient.

I purchased in 2021. I cleaned it regularly. It suddenly stopped working. Did it fully depreciate? Maybe. It was lot of money to stop working. I'm disappointed because I did enjoy it while it lasted.

Two weeks, 2 weeks that's all this machine lasts before it started screaming in the middle of the night. Scared the crap out of us. How does it only last 2 weeks? So disappointed.

I should have read reviews. After spending much time setting this up and sanitizing it was such a waste of time. It makes ice just to have water spray all over the ice and melt it. After reading reviews it looks like there are a lot of issues with this machine.

Both ice makers made incredibly loud squealing noises on day one. Occasionally made ice, but more often than not, it only made noise. Tried using GE's recommended “solution” of cleaning with vinegar to descale my brand new ice maker. Look on YouTube and you will see so many videos about squealing GE ice makers. It is frustrating GE doesn't stand behind their product.

The first one worked for about a day, and literally came to a grinding halt. The replacement wouldn't even turn on. These machines are a terrible design and Im really surprised Sams Club is allowing them to be sold. Pay attention to the reviews, it isn't just a few bad apples, it is just an overall bad product. (The Opal customer service didn't even try to have me get it repaired, they told me to send it back within 30 seconds of the phone call)
