Ice maker is a little bigger than I expected but works good & the ice it makes is perfect.

We purchased our GE Profile Opal almost 6 years ago. We have had NO problems! We use distilled water and clean regularly. I love the nugget ice!

Very poor quality! I went through defective 3 Opal Ice Machines purchased from GE before finally giving up. The pumps are poorly designed and constructed and either quit or screech forever and then quit. I DO NOT recommend this machine at all!

This is our first GE ice maker.it's first gen but it's still a lot nicer than the first two off brands we purchased. The ice is a lot nicer in size texture and seems to stay a lot longer without melting

I have owned 3 of these and they all died.Thank goodness I purchased the extended warranty otherwise I would just be angry. Look elsewhere for a countertop icemaker.

Ice maker broke after 4 months. Good thing I bought the Allstate protection plan. Oh, wait this plan is also garbage. What a headache. This is the biggest headache ever. GARBAGE. Nice ice

Really wanted this to work but after trying 3 different times gave up. Each time of going through the whole process of unpacking and setting up machine would start making ice and then start making a horrible screeching noise. Slow to make ice.
