Great replacement ice maker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this one as a replacement for the Frigidaire nugget ice maker we had that quit working. So far this one is a much better machine, quieter, nicer ice and its an attractive appliance also.

been struggling since i got it work good for a couple months but know it shuts off right when its starting to make ice frustrating definitely not worth all the money this thing cost!

Terrible product

don't buy

This is 1/3 the cost of what I paid. But it eventually made too much noise %26 cleaning wasn't fun. Mold builds up in water tank 1st %26 then the well😬

3rd time not a charm

I have owned 3 of these and they all died.Thank goodness I purchased the extended warranty otherwise I would just be angry. Look elsewhere for a countertop icemaker.

Garbage ice maker

Ice maker broke after 4 months. Good thing I bought the Allstate protection plan. Oh, wait this plan is also garbage. What a headache. This is the biggest headache ever. GARBAGE. Nice ice

Just the right size!

JUNK….

It is making a lot of noise. Similar to a broken lawnmower. Very disappointed with this ice maker. Not even a week old. 😕 I wish I could upload a video…. Good heavens!!!

Troublesome machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Doesn’t make ice. Says need water while its full. Need cleaning but i cleaned it three times. Does not go on clean cycle. Bought it 3 months ago.

Regarding the cleaning notification, we recommend making sure the full cleaning process described in the manual has been performed; cleaning information is available starting on page 7 of the manual, linked here: https://products-salsify.geappliances.com/image/upload/s--9_JHdteK--/248fcfa1db27d93cf26d2d04dad1f2db57a3f5f1.pdf If that doesn’t help with the cleaning notification, and to address the Add Water message, we recommend disconnecting the Opal from power for 3 to 4 hours before reconnecting, to reset it.
