Price is what you pay. Value is what you get..... The product is great and the after sales service is even better. Got a bolt that didn't work and contacted customer services for a replacement. Fast follow up and the new bolt is on its way. The only reason that I give 4 stars because of the installation instruction. Could be improved by better parts description and name of the parts. I notice some bolts & parts in the packages are not exactly the one that need for that section.

I have had the Lifetime 54” adjustable portable hoop for over a year. The rim unfortunately was damaged in a wind event. The representative from lifetime was so helpful in assisting me through the process. It was very easy and seamless dealing with him.

We purchased this backboard unit after my sons other one was destroyed by a large tree branch. We’ve had this one for almost 3 years and It has held up great with my son and his friends using it almost every day. Finally after a rather large slam dunk the metal weld under the basket cracked making the rim very wobbly. I sent an online warranty claim to Lifetime with a picture and the next day received an email saying a new rim was being shipped that day. Received it 4 days later installed it and everything is back to normal. Thanks Lifetime!! Great job!!

We just put the goal up two weeks ago, but so far we really like it. It’s sturdy and a good size for all ages. It lets up and down very easily - my 7 year old can do it. It was quite simple to put together; it took us about an hour and 45 mins. I am pleased with the purchase.

I bought this several months ago. After limited use, the springs continued to detach and the mechanism for raising and lower the hoop was defective and did not work. The good news is that Lifetime will send out new parts and will pay for a repair person to fix the problem at no charge to me. We will see if the fix works.

Once assembled, this goal is wonderful. But assembly is not easy. The directions are hard to follow so had to go back and redo or start over. The protective pads, the last step, are still not installed as there are no pre-drilled holes in the metal frame. But once together, the goal raises and lowers easily and has provided much-needed activity and entertainment.

Very sturdy basketball goal. It arrived well packaged and undamaged. My 14yo immediately started to tear open the box to start putting it together. It is definitely not a one man operation. Even after reading others reviews there were some hiccups along the way (mostly due to an excited teen and dad not reading directions fully before putting pieces together). It took them 3 hours to assemble. We used a base gel to fill the base rather than sand. It seems to be working well so far. The kids love the adjustable height since they range in age from 7-16. Contrary to another review I read, it can be wheeled to where you need it to go once filled. Delivery was two weeks earlier than their original estimate - no complaints from us- but I’m glad we were home to help the FedEx lady get this monster off the truck. Looking forward to years of 3 on 3 at our house!

I bought a basketball net, and a small part broke. I emailed customer service to see where I could buy a replacement part to keep the net working, and a response and solution was received within 2 days! Could not be happier with the speed and solution provided.

Got this 2 years ago when my 10 year old daughter started playing recreational basketball. Was relatively easy to assemble and is easily adjustable by the kids when they play. Had to replace a part that had rusted (hoop is kept outside year-round) and the costumer service team was great! After a quick email and a photo to show the part that had rusted, a new part was sent out to us and was covered by warranty. Very pleased overall.

Had to disassemble hoop to move it and lost some specific pieces. Gave Lifetime the part numbers and without hesitation they are sending me replacement parts. Well worth the premium price of the basketball hoop to have customer service be so amazing.
