Great buy for the size. I’m always waiting for sales in the regular supermarkets that usually net 50 cents/oz for the 12oz packages. This 2 lb size is nearly 3 of the supermarket size packages at a much better price per oz than the sale priced supermarket sizes.

The coffee is delicious. This was out 1st experience with grinding our own beans. We find that the coffee is fresher and hearty. We tried using up our old blended, canned and ground coffee - no longer does it for us. Once we got used to the order routine, we were completely satisfied. We are setting up automatic ordering to make sure we have a constant supply.

They carried these beans in the Sam's store in Marion, IL for a short time. The best price for these beans is to order from Sam's Club on line, since they don't have them in the local Club anymore. You get 2 lbs of beans for about what 12 ounces of the same beans cost at the grocery store or other outlets.They must be good because I ordered 4 bags and they were stolen before they made it to the UPS truck for shipping. I called customer service and had my order in two days by FEDEX. The coffee is strong and so tasty that I also get it for our nephew who is a coffee nut too. I have been drinking for over 2 years and have never gotten a bad bag. Also, Sam's stands behind their products if you ever do have a problem.

We've been enjoying this blend for years and it has never let us down. It is versatile and tastes great served in a variety of ways. We occasionally veer off course to try some other blends or single source or regional coffees, which is fun and keeps things alive, but we always come back to this reliable and delicious blend. In our book, this is second only to our beloved Holiday Blend.

I am a coffee drinker. I take my time to enjoy the aroma, the taste, and the coffee's "mouth feel" - if that is an appropriate description. Major Dickenson's Blend is the number one coffee that I purchase. Whole bean is the favorite, but I will occasionally purchase the ground version if I plan to travel. Yes, I bring my own coffee with me. Keep up the great work.

Pour over Melita. Very good taste, slight acidity. Have to get grind and water temp right for best result. I’m too careless. I make about a cup and 1/2 for a mug. I drink it from 154F to 147F. As it gets lower in temp it is too tepid for me. I am trying to eliminate evening coffee and make it only for myself so I still have enough for a few more days. I have two bags of store bought I will now use but I will return to online Peets in due course.

I first found this at my local Sam's Club and one taste is all I needed to know it is one of the very best coffees. Too bad that soon after I got hooked Sam's stopped carrying it. I still can order it but I drink less now than when I could just go get it. Great flavor!

I love this coffee brand, the taste is delicious, worth every penny. I just wish Sam’s Club sells it in stores, luckily I’m a plus member free shipping. I just make sure, when I get close to running out I order more. Sam’s has the best price for Peet’s coffee.

I admit that I am no purist. I put milk and sugar in my coffee. You might think this makes every cup about the same no matter which coffee you use. But it's not true. This is a coffee which stands up to such additions. Its character comes through. I'm no expert, but I just say it tastes good to me.

Nice bold flavor that is consistent to the last drop. It matters how you store the Beas since they come in a large quantity. if you keep the beans in an air tight container away from light - (like all coffee beans need) they will remain black and glossy and aromatic.
