A good price on a good coffee. I prefer the whole bean because it seems to retain more of the flavor and character that I prefer. Easy enough to get it here at Sam's Club without having to wait for a sale at the regular grocery store. Simple as that.

A wonderful strong and full-bodied taste without harsh finish, just what I want my coffee to taste like. I found the ground version excellent so wanted to buy quantity of beans to grind myself. This is perfect!

Major D is excellent coffee, if you enjoy a darker roast. Try it even if you don't, with bit extra milk. Great as a drip and terrific as a latte! Been drinking it for many years.

Always loved it. When I lived near a Peet's store in Santa Monica I would have half Major and half Sumatra - a great blend. Been without Peets for a long time due to moves. etc. and gift of a Nspresso but finally couldn't wait and got a drip pot and Peets was the only place to go. But sorry to say your hazelnut mocha WAS TRULY HORRIBLE, threw out the opened package. Still have 2 - maybe can give away but doubt it as not only was the taste terrible but the aroma that usually from Peets is "can hardly wait for the first cup" filled he kitchen with a sickening sweetness. Am a Peetnik. once again and have loved for over 15 years. Thank you and keep the Major Dickenson coming!!!

Love the coffee. Very frustrated with the inflexibility of the online ordering system. Within a few minutes I wrote to say I had meant to order decaf. I was told it was too late, the order was in, so over a week later the coffee arrives. Since it took over a week, there was not time to change my order?

This was the first coffee that I ever bought of Peets, in the grocery store, before I discovered that if you pay a little more, buying it freshly roasted and having it sent you your house makes SUCH a difference in flavor. I enjoy the multiple warm and lightly toasted flavors that simultaneously meander throughout your mouth while drinking this. Extremely flavorful without being overpowering in any way. A great balance going on here. Never a bad choice with this.

Dark, oily beans generate a wonderful flavor - hot or cold. A Dark Blend coffee lover, I drink coffee all day. Major Dickason's Blend is now my favorite, I'll need to try Peet's French Roast, House Blend and Italian Roast but I may have discovered my new favorite.

Had gone to a coffee that came in frac pacs, flavor was very good and was from a family roaster we tried while at a wedding. Had been drinking for about a year when wife said let's try Pete's Major Dickason's again. Forgot how good this was, do not mind grinding every morning.

I really like a dark roast with its rich flavor and chocolate-y aftertaste. If you like the Major Dickason's Blend this is a stronger option and really goes well with chocolate flavored creamers - or drink it black and chase it with an Entemann's Devil's Food Chocolate donut or two (my fave).

Peet's has gone steadily downhill since its days as a closely-held private company. The coffee, most importantly, remains good. But the bags often tear when opened; the tape can no longer be re-used to help seal an open bag; the included clamp is absurdly short and useless when the emptying bag is folded. The web site doesn't work properly on a tablet (e.g., the link to Shoprunner) and requires a laptop or desktop; the shipping information is wildly inaccurate, with inaccurate delivery forecasts and even claims of successful delivery days before the coffee arrives; the two days delivery guarantee through Shoprunner, even when measured from the roast date, is ignored (unlike virtually every other Shoprunner merchant). The selection of accessories, such as mugs, has been drastically reduced. And this grind, because it combines percolators and French press, is not course enough for French press. GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER!
