We regularly order 8 bags of Major Dickason's whole beans. Something is wrong with the taste in our latest order. (Rancid/chemical/awful taste) After inspection, I noticed no Roast Date on the pkgs. It has a freshest by date of 4/4/25... I thought Peets usually stamped that date about 3 months after roasting.

Because it's so fresh when ordered from the website, this was better than the same thing bought from the store. I can't go back to regular coffee now because this stuff tastes so good! Hard to describe the taste, but it's not overly bitter like other kinds of coffee and has a pleasant toastiness that's so comforting.

I was so thrilled to finally find Peet?s on the shelf at our club store. Despite all of the excellent reviews, it has been pulled. Such a shame, especially since the savings were significant. This has happened frequently, love a product only to find it pulled from the shelves. Now that we?re empty nesters I?m considering cancelling the membership, no use paying for membership when the products I like keep getting discontinued.

We love this coffee! Once Sam’s stopped carrying it in the store I started shopping around (to include Sam’s house coffees) and haven’t been able to find another coffee we like. I like being able to just pick up coffee at the store when I’m running low, but I just bit the bullet and ordered in line, we’ll see how quickly it gets here! Sam’s, please put this back on the shelf in the store!

One of my Favorite coffee's. Perfect Blend, rich fl avor, strong, and smooth. Just don not care for the mailing delivery, since it takes more than 7 to 10 days to get to my home. Pete, must get a better delivery systrem. Like most coffee lovers, we want Fresh roasted coffee, thats why we come to you for flavor done to perfection. Now perfect delivery...

Major Dickason's is by far my favorite. I mix the decaf with the caffeinated (actually, it's the best decaf I've ever tasted, but I need a little caffeine). It's rich and SO flavorful..........and the aroma........................Try it......THE BEST!!!!

We have been loyal customers for years. Love your coffee. We are on a fixed income and are always looking to save money. Today my wife was looking on Amazon prime and found they were much cheeper than ordering directly from Peets plus the shipping is free and free next day delivery. Hopefully the freshness won't suffer too much.

I have been very eager to find the ideal Peet's coffee to enjoy every morning in my French press. I have been buying Peet's decaf Sumatra for a while, as the best decaf bean I can find. But I haven't yet found a caffeinated Peet's that ranks with the best beans I have in the morning. For a while, my spouse has been bringing Major Dickason's blend back from the grocery store, as it is the one described as most closely matching my tastes -- dark roast, spicy, rich and complex. And yet it's just. . . bland. It's not very flavorful, certainly not spicy, and it feels thinner in my mouth than I prefer. I like a mouth-filling body and bold, spicy flavor, and this isn't it. It's shaken me a bit, because the descriptions that I have read of Major Dickason's online simply do not match what I have tasted after trying 3-4 bags now. It's not a bad or unpleasant coffee, just very underwhelming. Still looking for the Peet's bean that will suit my tastes.

Easy to reorder. I get two 32 oz bags about every six weeks. Tried store pick up for the first time. Wish I could review that experience separately. Felt like it was Sam's Fairlawn Ohio's first rodeo. Sam's pre-order pick up in store procedures need a lot of work.

Several months ago I bought a bag (32 oz) to give it a try. Since I live about 1 1/2 hours from the nearest Sams club, I visited several as I traveled and could not find this wonderful coffee any where. Many online places sell it, but for a lot more plus shipping. I set up my account and bought this wonderful coffee, and it arrived in two days.
