Love the coffee. Very frustrated with the inflexibility of the online ordering system. Within a few minutes I wrote to say I had meant to order decaf. I was told it was too late, the order was in, so over a week later the coffee arrives. Since it took over a week, there was not time to change my order?

I L-O-V-E Major Dickason's Blend. It's rich, full bodied and complex and that's what I like. However, the 4-star rating is because it's somewhat variable in both the roast and the quality of the beans used in it. Sometimes, there are no 'clinkers' at all in the coffee and sometimes, there are a lot...far more than there should be in a premium coffee. Even when it's not quite up to snuff, it's still very good indeed.

I started drinking Peet's Coffee 14 years ago while on deployment with the Navy. Nothing better than receiving good coffee in the mail. After trying different flavors, I found Major Dickinson's blend to be my favorite by far. Love the dark smooth flavor. Thank you for making it to our East Coast markets however I still like to buy it online from time to time. Once you try Peet's, you'll never drink anything else.

You eather like great coffee or Starbucks miserably over extracted coffee shop bitter flavor. Fresh ground French pressed Peet's can't be undone. If you skip the long lines, fancy names and high prices to get an actually good cup of coffee, you won't be disappointed. Brew at home people.

Bought this coffee at my local club. Smooth, dark and no bitterness or acidity to speak of. Given up cream to get the full taste. Unfortunately, the local club stopped carrying it so I felt lucky to find and purchase it on line. Order was easy and quick.

I have tried many other coffees to try something different but both my wife and and I always come back to Peet’s. Peet’s Major Dickinson dark roast is rich and robust, a perfect daily coffee. My wife and I grind our own beans and being a subscriber ensures the absolute freshest coffee we can get. The perfect coffee!

I have been using nothing but great Peet's beans home delivered coffee since the '70s! It's coffee and it's iconic coffee cup have been a constant daily reminder of my happy College days at UC Berkeley. when my best friend and I first discovered Peet's Coffee. Thanks, for great times and memories!!

I really can't tell the difference between this and the equivalent K-cup with a much older roast date. Maybe my taste buds are getting too old. Or maybe they do a terrific job of preserving the freshness of the K-cups. Or maybe they do a horrible job of preserving the freshness of their whole bean coffee. In any event, Peet's decaf is something to write home about......, but this is not. Of course, the taste of coffee is very subjective, so you mustn't take this review to the bank. If this review is read enough times by enough people, ya'll will have wasted as much time reading it as I did writing it.

Peet’s has gone steadily downhill since its days as a closely-held private company. The coffee, most importantly, remains good. But the bags often tear when opened; the tape can no longer be re-used to help seal an open bag; the included clamp is absurdly short and useless when the emptying bag is folded. The web site doesn’t work properly on a tablet (e.g., the link to Shoprunner) and requires a laptop or desktop; the shipping information is wildly inaccurate, with inaccurate delivery forecasts and even claims of successful delivery days before the coffee arrives; the two days delivery guarantee through Shoprunner, even when measured from the roast date, is ignored (unlike virtually every other Shoprunner merchant). The selection of accessories, such as mugs, has been drastically reduced. And this grind, because it combines percolators and French press, is not course enough for French press. GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER!

Most excellent blend - my favorite for decades! Unfortunately, I have moved to a "Peet's desert" where I must use the online order service or go without. Online service offers three grinds, none of which produce the full-bodied beautiful cup I've enjoyed for over 40 years. :( Inquiries confirmed this sad state of affairs. I will plan distance visits to a store to avoid the unpleasant reality of the limiting online service.
