This is one of Peet's most popular roasts and beans. The key here is starting with the right blend of beans, sources of which are somewhat secret. I'd put some in Indonesia for sure and perhaps some Brazilian. Rich, round flavors, with a hearty body and well-balanced finish.

Since I like my coffee dark and rich, this was my first choice. Found I needed to use slightly more granules than my former brand to get the same depth of flavor. May try a French Roast next. Nonetheless, Major Dickason is a safe choice for a dark roast.

I find most medium roasts too blah and Major Dickerson a bit too intense. I blend Maj Dickerson 50/50 with a medium roast and I get a great bold cup of coffee that is not too bitter or burnt. Works great in an AeroPress and as a Cold Brew. The packages I received from Sam's were freshly dated.

For many years I drank blend 101, but tried Major Dickason’s blend and have been buying for years. After a move to an area where I didn’t have a local Peets, I tried other brands. Just couldn’t enjoy a cup of coffee, and have been ordering ever since.

Bought this coffee at my local club. Smooth, dark and no bitterness or acidity to speak of. Given up cream to get the full taste. Unfortunately, the local club stopped carrying it so I felt lucky to find and purchase it on line. Order was easy and quick.

I forgot how good this tasted! When I lived in Seattle Peet's was ubiquitous. It was always my fave coffee & coffee shop for the 16 years I lived in Seattle. Now it's 10 years later and 3000 miles distance, not a Peet's to be found. Thank goodness for the Interwebs! Been a while since I had a cup of Major D. I'm so glad I bought it. I'm a very dark (roast) kind of guy. This works well for my tastebuds. I couldn't tell you if it has notes of cigarette ash & shoe leather or dark chocolate & blueberries. I just know I want more every time I drink it black. Major Yum!

Major Dickason is simply the best coffee I’ve ever had!! I first drank it when we moved to Portland, OR in 2008. We lived there for 9 years I loved being able to go into the Peet’s store and get fresh ground coffee. We live in Phoenix, AZ now and they don’t have Peet’s stores but I still order my favorite coffee.

A friend of mine helped me with a project. In appreciation I purchased some of his favorite coffee, for him which was Peet's Major Dickerason's blend. I decided to give it a try and purchase a pound for myself. I found it to be very deep in flavor, smooth and unique and taste. I've tried many coffees and I rate this up as one of the top ones!

I purchased this coffee by chance. My local club was out of what I usually get (Pike). This coffee is bolder, richer and smoother. Unfortunetly the went by again to purchase another bag and they no longer had it in stock. Fortune Roy I was able to order it online and get it shipped directly to my office. Everyone really enjoys.
