I started drinking Peet's Coffee 14 years ago while on deployment with the Navy. Nothing better than receiving good coffee in the mail. After trying different flavors, I found Major Dickinson's blend to be my favorite by far. Love the dark smooth flavor. Thank you for making it to our East Coast markets however I still like to buy it online from time to time. Once you try Peet's, you'll never drink anything else.

I forgot how good this tasted! When I lived in Seattle Peet's was ubiquitous. It was always my fave coffee & coffee shop for the 16 years I lived in Seattle. Now it's 10 years later and 3000 miles distance, not a Peet's to be found. Thank goodness for the Interwebs! Been a while since I had a cup of Major D. I'm so glad I bought it. I'm a very dark (roast) kind of guy. This works well for my tastebuds. I couldn't tell you if it has notes of cigarette ash & shoe leather or dark chocolate & blueberries. I just know I want more every time I drink it black. Major Yum!

We started a new subscription home delivery with 6 pounds but Peet's french press grind was too fine .. leaving a lot of unfiltered sediments at the bottom of each cup making it bitter. just cancelled subscription and will stick with local Portland coffee & grocery store coffee grinding machine as we can control the grind ourselves.

Major Dickson is one of my favorite coffees. The online process of ordering Peet's Coffee is simple and straight forward. By purchasing online my coffee is always just days from having been roasted and processed, rather the the weeks to months with the coffee bought in stores.

I bought some ground Major Dickason's Blend at my local grocery store to take on a camping trip. It was so delicious! My husband and I decided to subscribe and have whole beans delivered weekly. We were disappointed that the whole beans shipped to our door were not nearly as rich and flavorful as the ground beans we bought at the store. In fact, they did not taste fresh at all. We have cancelled the subscription as a result.

Do not like the dark roast as it has a rather bitter bite to it as most dark roasts do. I prefer the smooth taste of the medium roast but cannot seem to find it anywhere. Was it discontinued? Am specifically speaking about the ground or whole bean coffee since K cups are not even in the same ball park as fresh brewed due to the fact that K cups are nothing more than instant coffee.

This coffee is a love affair. I was introduced to Peet's back in 1998 by my English professor and I wondered why someone would like a bean so much they would have it shipped to them regularly. Now I know why!!!! My first concern when moving to Canada where I now live was if they sell Peet's here. Major D's blend is my old flame that I look for whenever I scan a store, a coffeebar, an online site...I'm always searching for that spark and if I do come across it I light up with the inspiration and magic of a first kiss and my heart is full. Thanks to Peet's I have a new lifelong obsession, friend, and old flame that ever burns brightly!!!!! Be prepared to take a journey if you try it....mine has lasted over twenty years and counting!

This is one of Peet's most popular roasts and beans. The key here is starting with the right blend of beans, sources of which are somewhat secret. I'd put some in Indonesia for sure and perhaps some Brazilian. Rich, round flavors, with a hearty body and well-balanced finish.

Our household has been drinking MD blend for two years, but over the summer of 2017, something has changed. We loved the depth of roast and the notes of warm chocolate that greeted us with every bag, but now there are fruity notes and a definite "breakfast bland" taste. Yes, I meant bland. What happened to the old formulation? We can't drink this anymore, which is a change we didn't want. Brink back the old MD's!!

Have bought this for years in the grocery store, and finally got tired of realizing I was out of coffee and going to the local store at 6am (in pajamas). Major Dickason has a great full bodied flavor, standing up to cream, which makes it a great way to start the day.
