Have bought this for years in the grocery store, and finally got tired of realizing I was out of coffee and going to the local store at 6am (in pajamas). Major Dickason has a great full bodied flavor, standing up to cream, which makes it a great way to start the day.

While I’ve always enjoyed Peet’s coffee, I’ve always purchased whole bean from my local grocery store. Having received my first subscription delivery, the flavor and aroma (it smells SO GOOD), of freshly roasted coffee from Peets has solidified my decision to continue my subscription and continue to enjoy great coffee (and espresso) made from freshly roasted Major Dickinsons beans.

I've come back to Major Dickason's Blend after several years away, using a retail blend from a Canadian donut and coffee chain. I'd forgotten how robust this blend is, and how much I enjoy a good cup of it. I buy the beans and grind it with a burr grinder. I can make a good espresso and a good "gold" cup of coffee with it. In my coffee maker, to set the strength on "bold" makes this coffee run a touch bitter, but it's not a big deal for me. I love the dark roast, the chocolate-y/nutty taste.

I have been a customer for years now and really enjoy Major Dickason's blend. Every month I have two pounds delivered and even the UPS driver said he loves to smell the coffee in his truck. I have been ordering Peet's Major Dickason's Blend for at least 15 years and can hardly drink any other coffee. I have tried to encourage my friends to serve Peet's because it is very rude to not be able to drink a "cuppa" with them. I was married 10 years ago to a man who only drank Folger's. During our courtship, I introduced him to Peet's - an easy convert. Our morning coffee with the newspapers is an important ritual in our lives. Love Love Love Peet's.

I fell in love with French Pressed coffee. After trying many different beans, I decided to try Peet's Coffee Major Dickason's Blend. I found it to have a nice bold taste yet smooth, no after bite. I know I am not a REAL coffee drinker because I add creamer. With Peet's coffee, I only add a 1/4 of what I used to use. Try it. You won't be disappointed.

I feel like I’ve been in love with this coffee since I first smelled Peet’s in Menlo Park early days. Since then I’m happy to be able to order direct as I’m never assured to find beans in my local Safeway. I switch between this and French Roast so I don’t get bored.
