Great warranty

Originally bought an IGEN4500, but it soon developed a problem of using oil to the tune of shutting the unit off after 20 hrs run time. Westinghouse led me to a repair shop where they diagnosed the issue. Westinghouse sent me a new generator due to the fact the engine wasn't any good on the other.

Great Generator

This is the fourth Westinghouse product i have bought. (9500 Watt Generator, Power washer, Battery inverter, 5000 Watt duel fuel Generator) all there products are highquality for the price paid a true value. this generator is amaizing i bought it for my RV and it start first time everytime I was also suprised how quiet it is. we run it under one of our slide outs to protect it from any weather and the noise in the interior ofthe RV is minimal at best cant even hear it overthe A/C running. Great product if your thinking of buying it for yourself, do your future self a favor and buy it, you will not regret this purchase.

Excellent features

Just purchased this generator. Very pleased with the quality and the great price. I was amazed at the easy start; so nice with the push button. I really like the quiet operation, and the data center has so much info. at a glance. I ran the gen. for about 90 minutes with a heater connected; used hardly any gasoline. The Westinghouse generator has a much better warranty than some of the other generators that I compared it to.

Great RV generator for propane

I bought this Westinghouse 5000W generator specifically for our travel trailer, and it has been an absolute game-changer for our camping trips. What I love most: • RV Ready: having the 30amp outlet (TT-30R) built right in means I can plug my RV directly into the unit without fussing with dog-bone adapters. • Remote Start: This is a luxury I didn't know I needed until now. Being able to start the generator from inside the camper early in the morning to make coffee—without going out into the cold—is amazing. • Power: It easily handles my 13,500 BTU air conditioner and the microwave simultaneously without bogging down. I mostly run it on propane because it burns cleaner and I don't have to worry about the carburetor getting gummed up during storage. If you own an RV, this is the one to get.

Westinghouse- iGen5000DF (Great Value!)

I just recently purchased the Westinghouse iGen5000DFc generator for my mother-in-law. I was looking for something that had enough peak and running watts for her needs, but also was easy to start, use, and maintain for her. I feel the iGen5000DF was the perfect fit for the price. She really appreciated the easy on/off button start and remote start features. I like the fact that she doesn't have to worry about storing gasoline in her home and having future carburetor issues with old gas in the generator. I would have given this 5 stars, but I need to see how it performs over time. Also, the quick start instructions were a bit misleading regarding what service panels to open to add oil.

Solid unit: easy setup and operation

Very pleased with ease of use and performance. Bought this unit and wouldn't you know power outage a few days later. Activate hero mode 😋. I set the unit up a few days prior. Easy instructions and simple setup. Getting the battery connected was challenging only due to the tight space and my large hands. I really appreciate the little accessories/toolkit and the compartments that they go inside. Nothing like having little odds and ends that need to be kept track of — not with this. There's a place for everything with the exception of the propane regulator. That's understandable though. It's large and given that I intend to exclusively use propane, not a big deal for me. Break in and operation was stupid simple. The unit started up easily the first time and has every time since then. I really have no complaints. Thus far the unit is solid and I appreciate the little things that were considered when designing it.

Saved our food during an ice storm

We bought this generator online during the 2026 catastrophic ice storm in North Mississippi and neighboring states. We were so lucky, although the retail company Norwall is based out west, one of their warehouses is here in our hometown so I picked it up myself. After 7 days, our electricity thankfully came back on but there are still thousands without it. This Westinghouse Inverter Generator saved the food that we had in two freezers and also provided power for a few lights we could move around with extension cords. In the near future will add a connection box to our breaker box that will allow us to connect the 30a RV plug to it and give us many more options if we ever have another terrible event like this. We ran it on propane and it never failed to crank very quickly with the pull cord. The battery that was included had lost its charge when I unboxed the unit but that's ok, I didn't mind manually starting it. We were desperate. I would give this generator 20 stars if it were possible!

Easy to use and set up!

As a single momma that knows zero about generators , this has been the easiest to set up and use. With the ice storm headed this way that was a huge relief for me as I do all the prep work. This is the 1st 1 I was able to get ready without any help. Easy to pull and easy to start! Would buy again.

EXCITING - READY FOR EVENT ON VALENTINES DAY

I'm really excited to use the iGen5000DF inverter generator at an upcoming event. After doing my research, I chose this model because it offers dual-fuel capability and promises clean, stable power. I plan to run both my 1360 W popcorn machine and 1080 W cotton candy machine, and this generator should provide the reliable power I need for both. So far, I'm impressed with how easy it seems to transport, thanks to the long handle and overall design. It feels manageable to carry around, which is a big plus when you're setting up and breaking down multiple pieces of equipment. Overall, I'm optimistic that the iGen5000DF will deliver the clean, consistent power required for my machines and make my event setup smoother.

Great quality and long lasting equipment

I bought the generator over a month ago but just got it setup yesterday and it fired right up on the first pull and my grandson had to do it for me because I am not able to pull the cord and that's why I bought the electric start. It was a must buy because of the weather this year and I couldn't pull the cord on my older manual starter. Thank you for such a quality product that Westinghouse has always been known for over many years. I am 76 and my parents bought a large electric fan when I was two and it lasted for about 55 years. I actually sold metal working machinery to Westinghouse in Raleigh and Fayetteville, NC probably in the neighborhood of the last 25 years maybe more. Always had high respect for Westinghouse products and also respect for the people that I was dealing with in manufacturing plants in North Carolina.
