This is a very solid inverter generator, with full features and even has a remote start/stop key fob. I will use it for my Lance travel trailer and the 4500-watt surge rating is perfect for starting up the AC even with other items running in the trailer. It also has the convenience of dual fuel which I would like to sort out how to connect it to the port on my trailer. It is much quieter than the 4000w competitor inverter/generator that I am replacing. My drivers for seeking a better inverter/generator were noise, surge watts, and run time. The Westinghouse unit exceeds my expectations for all 3.

Bought this to power our camper off grid. Excellent choice! Able to run rooftop A/C and microwave at the same time. So easy to use that my sister can run it…lol. Barely able to hear it running when you’re inside the camper, and I had left it close to the camper (for security purposes). Very pleased so far.

I bought this generator in early June for some planned Activities at our off the grid log cabin in Wisconsin. Once we had this generator Set up and running at our cabin it performed Outstandingly The remote start Was a wonderful addition to the user friendliness of this generator and it's performance in handling all our electrical needs was just Excellent.

We got this to power our off grid cabin. We love the dual fuel option. We plan to use propane fuel. The remote start is nice. Don't plan on picking it up and carrying it to where you need it, it is heavy. It does have wheels and a handle for moving it around. I like that it does have warranty, some we looked at did not. But hopefully we don't need to use it :)

I was at a farm event and seen one and it was so quite, I decided right at that time I was going to purchase one, Once I received the Generator went through all of the start up procedures and once started it up It was so easy to come on line and yes it was so quite.

So far so good, fired right up, seems to be good quality, allot of features, digital output reading, digital fule guage, power use, light enough for 2 guy to load in a truck but wheels and handle are very handy! Also very quiet even under load, I would say comparable to 1 2000 watt Honda under load.

I finally got around to getting my new generator running and somewhat familiar with it. My reason for 5 stars is the quick start instructions need updated for the IGEN5000DF. First it has you take the big cover off “ to access the oil dipstick”. It has a little panel of its own on the opposite side. Then there is no idea how much it takes, (thanks google), .8 quart. The funnel provided is guaranteed to have drops of oil spilled from its design. I used my own. Then shutting it off, it tells you to choke it. There is no choke. Just change it to propane if not hooked up. They could have provided a longer pigtail for hooking the battery up securing the battery could have been done better as well. Other than that, it does weigh over 100 pounds and has small wheels on it. The rest of procedures seem ok in the book. It does run quieter than the older models and like the remote. I also like the information display as well and lit up on and off button. Overall it seems sound running on gas.

I bought this about a month ago and just began to use it. It’s suffers from the same problem most people have out of the box with the choke issue. I’m debating on whether or not to return it and start all over again but I fear that I will end up having this problem as most do. You would think that by now they would have solve this issue since it’s a clear manufacturing production defect. Still powers everything great. I don’t truly regret it I just wish this thing would run the way that it supposed to without having to need to return it orDo the work myself to correct the problem. I feel I should be giving some sort of discount for having to deal with this

I ordered and paid for an i500DF Generator and twice received i4500 DF. The boxes read i4500 DF but the little scan stickers on the box read i5000 DF. No one at Sam’s Club could explain why this kept happening. Finally gave up and ordered from Lowe’s. Lowe’s was cheaper and can deliver the correct product. Probably won’t ever order from Sam’s Club again. Sam’s Club online customer service is in the Philippines. Good luck on communication! Right hand doesn’t know what the left is doing!
