Purchased it for it for power outage and hope that I never need to use it. That being said, I am only using propane. Instructions were good and easy to follow. Started right up and ran for about 40 minutes so far. I tested several items and will run later toward fall after I do a little more research for possible main panel hook up.

I am super bummed about this purchase. I live in Colorado and the generators need to have hearts installed to compensate for our high altitude. Unfortunately, Westinghouse does not allow you to just order the parts. They require you to request for the parts, but they are so overwhelmed that they cannot fill your request anytime soon or answer any phone calls. So my 30 days to return the generators if I don’t think they will work is coming up quickly and I can’t even try them out. It would make more sense to just let us order these parts online.

I bought the generator over a month ago but just got it setup yesterday and it fired right up on the first pull and my grandson had to do it for me because I am not able to pull the cord and that's why I bought the electric start. It was a must buy because of the weather this year and I couldn't pull the cord on my older manual starter. Thank you for such a quality product that Westinghouse has always been known for over many years. I am 76 and my parents bought a large electric fan when I was two and it lasted for about 55 years. I actually sold metal working machinery to Westinghouse in Raleigh and Fayetteville, NC probably in the neighborhood of the last 25 years maybe more. Always had high respect for Westinghouse products and also respect for the people that I was dealing with in manufacturing plants in North Carolina.

I just picked this unit up, only 4 Stars as I haven't had it long. Well packaged, all accessories included, easy set up, everything functions AND it is quiet. I've had a Yamaha 2000 inverter, this is much quieter. Crossfire Welding was great to deal with too.

I just bought this and the battery was dead and only started by manually pulling the rope. I ran it for about 45 minutes and the battery did not charge at all in that time. I have now had the enclosed battery trickler charger attached for about 10 hours and though it was enough to start it with the electrical start, the battery has barely charged at all. I will keep trying for another 4 hours or more to see if it charges. If not I sure am hoping that my warranty will cover anew battery as this is not a good for a brand new generator. Note: I do have the batter connected right.

Met expectations. Packaging a little damaged. Battery loose and upside down. But when things were assembled properly - unit fired up and ran. Fill funnel is interesting design. Will see if it leads to over filling. The RV receptacle doesn't feel very tight and it is easy for the 30A plug to fall out if it is bumped. Fairly easy to lift and pull around using provided handles. Oil is painful to change due to the small opening in the cover to reach the fill and drain plugs. and the small drain hole. When they recommend the oil be hot before you change it they are serious, unless you want spend a over an hour draining.

I bought this for boondocking with our TT. Very happy with the purchase. Runs everything including the A/C without any problem. Running only propane.

BEWARE!!! This is not a 5000 peak watt generator. The company is sending 4500Peak watt generator. Loook close at the pictures!! Flase advertising to sell the leas watt model at the 5000 watt price. Shame on this vendor!!

We bought this as a camper generator in case of power outages as well as a backup for home. Was completely surprised at how well this works for what we wanted it for.

started up easy. Runs great, nice and quiet. Ran at 1.5K for 2 hrs 2 times in the eco mode no problems. Didn't fill all the way with gas. Still plenty left. Hope it holds up. Decent item for the price. Walmart had the best price. Happy so far.
