I just picked this unit up, only 4 Stars as I haven't had it long. Well packaged, all accessories included, easy set up, everything functions AND it is quiet. I've had a Yamaha 2000 inverter, this is much quieter. Crossfire Welding was great to deal with too.

Generator was very easy to setup. Add supplied oil with supplied funnel, Connect battery cables, add fuel or connect propane. That’s it! I connected propane, again with supplied hose, and it fired right up first try! We are expecting bad weather so I let it run for 5 hour break in period only running a battery charger and heat lamp in chicken coop. That way I can change and add synthetic oil before storm not during. It ran smoothly and quietly without any issues. Looking forward to using it during power outages and while camping in our travel trailer. Can’t give 5 stars after just one use

I upgraded my RV's generator to the iGen5000FDc and could not be happier. The gen sips fuel and I'm seeing almost 25 hours runtime with propane and 23 hours with gasoline. Obviously, my utilization is 25% or less due to the RV's electrical efficiency. The gen is quiet and not heavy. Highly recommend the unit!

I bought the 5000 dual fuel recently to run my large electric airless paint rig. I am recoating the exterior of a 100,000 sq ft building. This thing is ridiculously quite and performs incredible. Gets great gas milage. I showed it to my buddy and now he's gonna buy one.

Have not had long enough to leave 5 stars but once the oil and gas where added, i pulled it outside, which the handle makes very easy, clicked the remote start that came with it and BOOM...fired right up. Runs smooth and fairly quiet considering what it does.

We bought this generator online during the 2026 catastrophic ice storm in North Mississippi and neighboring states. We were so lucky, although the retail company Norwall is based out west, one of their warehouses is here in our hometown so I picked it up myself. After 7 days, our electricity thankfully came back on but there are still thousands without it. This Westinghouse Inverter Generator saved the food that we had in two freezers and also provided power for a few lights we could move around with extension cords. In the near future will add a connection box to our breaker box that will allow us to connect the 30a RV plug to it and give us many more options if we ever have another terrible event like this. We ran it on propane and it never failed to crank very quickly with the pull cord. The battery that was included had lost its charge when I unboxed the unit but that’s ok, I didn’t mind manually starting it. We were desperate. I would give this generator 20 stars if it were possible!

I’m really excited to use the iGen5000DF inverter generator at an upcoming event. After doing my research, I chose this model because it offers dual-fuel capability and promises clean, stable power. I plan to run both my 1360 W popcorn machine and 1080 W cotton candy machine, and this generator should provide the reliable power I need for both. So far, I’m impressed with how easy it seems to transport, thanks to the long handle and overall design. It feels manageable to carry around, which is a big plus when you’re setting up and breaking down multiple pieces of equipment. Overall, I’m optimistic that the iGen5000DF will deliver the clean, consistent power required for my machines and make my event setup smoother.

My iGEN4500 was stolen in Chandler, AZ out of a U-Haul storage facility. I purchased an iGEN5000DFc to replace it. I recommend these Westinghouse generators. The are quiet as compared to others with this capability, they are priced right, and they have remote state. Great units.

As a single momma that knows zero about generators , this has been the easiest to set up and use. With the ice storm headed this way that was a huge relief for me as I do all the prep work. This is the 1st 1 I was able to get ready without any help. Easy to pull and easy to start! Would buy again.

Solid generator overall. It starts reliably, runs smoothly, and provides consistent power when you need it most. Setup is straightforward, though the instructions could be a bit clearer. It’s a little louder than expected, but not a dealbreaker. Good value for the price and gets the job done
