Looks great and is perfect size, BUT...

...i am rather disappointed by the apparent lack of a typical, normal audio out jack (by which i could run sound through my beloved old kenwood rack system — like i *did* with my previous samsung 36-in smarttv... it was an amazing combo.) i guess removing the audio jack is considered to be "progress"? (coz they take up soooo much space? ha!) i suppose maybe i could stream my services through my old ps3, running sound from it to the kenwood, but that kinda defeats the whole "new smart tv" thing... sigh.

This product has great features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have never had a flat screen TV. I absolutely LOVE this TV. I have it in my bedroom attached to a wall mount . It has great picture quality! Clear and sharp. It's ideal for watching all movies. I love watching U-tube videos and feel I'm right there at the concert. The images look so clear and better than your average TV. Great for watching sports and action movies too. The display shows high color accuracy and such a perfect contrast. The picture is virtually blur-free. I love the bright colors and high contrast. I can see it works well in any room. It's like looking at a full array of deeper dark and richer colors. The images look lifelike. I am very, very happy with this purchase. For a high quality TV this was not only a affordable price that I will probably purchase another smart TV for another room in the future. With the pandemic I have been glued to watching so many movies on Netflex. I highly recommend anyone to purchase any Samsung Smart TV. You won't be disapointed!

This tv has a beautiful picture.

Unfortunately, my last few Samsung products have not held up the way i feel they should have considering the price. For example, this TV is less than 3 years old and it makes a horrible noise when it is turned on or off for about 15 minutes.

Thank you for sharing details of the ticking noise you’re hearing from your AU8000 TV. Samsung TVs use a combination of metal and plastic materials. These materials are subject to expansion and contraction due to temperature changes. Occasional creaking, popping, or cracking may be heard. Additionally, specific components within the TV may cause these temporary noises once powered off. Please know this does not indicate a product malfunction, and your TV is safe to use. With this in mind, here are a few quick tips on reducing the expansion that can cause these noises. 1) Ensure that there is adequate ventilation. Some enclosures may not allow for proper ventilation. This causes the internal temperature to increase and the plastic to expand more than usual. For recommended ventilation requirements, please see your user manual. 2) Make sure there aren't any heating or air conditioning vents pointing directly at the TV. 3) Verify that the TV is on a flat and level surface. Great tv ...But

this tv is great as far as what im able to view ..graphics and things like that but the tv itself at tikes can just be irritating. i noticed if im gone for too long it will unconnect from the wifi and i have to unplug the tv for it to connect again and i know its not my wifi. its getting to the point where every single time i come home i have to unplug to tv and plug it back in for it to work and im over it , its only been three months that ive had it . ive also noticed the picture is a but grainy at times when i turn it on and so again i have to fo and unplug the tv for a clear picture. my tv is only a couple steps away but for the money my boyfriend paid for this tv we expect it to work properly.

You may want to go through these steps to check your connection: 1) Check the distance between the TV and your modem or access point. The distance should not exceed 50 ft. (15.2 m). 2) Minimize interference by not using or turning off wireless devices. Also, verify that there are no obstacles between the TV and the modem or access point. (Wi-Fi strength can be decreased by appliances, cordless phones, stone walls/fireplaces, etc.) 3) Perform a network test to check if there is a network problem. Press the Home button on your remote. Navigate to Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis> Smart Hub Connection Test 4) Try a cold reboot of your TV by pressing and holding the power button for 5+ seconds until the TV turns off and on again. 5) Please also be sure you have the latest firmware update. Awesome

I bought this a little over a month ago and haven't been disappointed. I was hesitant thinking that there was no difference between name brands but I'm very happy with Samsung so far. I'm hoping the longevity of the TV also holds up. My only complaint that really isn't an issue are the mounting bolt holes, which are apparently not a universal size. But again not really an issue just inconvenient trying to find the correct size. The built in speaker is on the quiet side but easily solved with a sound bar.

LOVE MY TV

Being a "smart tv", it is easy to program recordings and stream shows. The size is very good, not oversized. I will surely purchase a Samsung upon replacement.

Audio Guidance works well

I'm a blind user and with my Samsung TV I am now able to use my TV with minimal help due to the Audio Guidance and Alexa. One thing I wish the remote had is a 30 second time jump button rather than needing to locate the screen time jump which takes quite a bit of navigation.
