Customer reviews for Samsung 55" Class TU700D-Series Crystal Ultra HD 4K Smart TV UN55TU700DFXZA forNavigating the interface
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hi I wanted to let you know that the interface to move between apps and other aspects of the UI is pretty bad. For one, the highlighted app is hard to detect especially if the app logo is black. Secondly, the controls on the remote and how the UI interacts with it is very clunky - i can't seem to get the cursor to where I want it very easily. It also always want to default to samsung TV - which is annoying. This is not a simple problem - the interface is so bad I believe you will not get repeat buying of this platform unless it is updated to work better and be more intuitive. Please let me know if there are plans to update the UI.
This product is overall amazing.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is easy to use; I really like it. The only negative thing is that it will occasionally flash when bright light is in a show, however this can be mostly fixed by changing the picture settings.
I LOVE IT!!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Streaming on the Samsung TU7000 is absolutely amazing! Not only do you get access to great streaming platforms, you also get internet TV so that you can browse the internet right from your TV Screen! My brother and his son brought Nintendo Switches over and the Samsung TV has an app specifically for the Switch so that you can pair it and play, hassle free! You can download so many different apps and everything is right at the palm of your hands (literally). My baby girl LOVES Disney+ and I love TUBI so we get to watch all of our favorite movies and shows together. Perfect TV and by far the best Smart TV out there!
Media content creators dream come true
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am blown away by this TV! Of course it's large. However, for it's size, the picture image is bright with true color reproduction and crystal clear detail no matter how close you are. The system operation is stellar as well. Very responsive with numerous screen, audio, and streaming service adjustments and options. The built in new Apple Airplay 2 system is incredible. I'm a filmmaker and photographer. Whenever need to do post production media work on my MacBook Pro, all I have to do is wirelessly connect it to the TV via the Apple Airplay 2 option and BAM! A 75” computer graphics monitor suddenly appears my living room. I have found zero lag time between my keyboard and trackpad input and what's mirrored on the TV screen. 2 Enthusiastic Thumbs Way Up!
Disappointing
My first disappointment came, when I realized there is no input for my auxiliary video player. It hooks up, using one of the wires with the red, white, and yellow plugins. There is none on this TV. If I can't find an alternative wire, them my movie player is useless. Additionally, it was difficult to setup. I didn't have as many problems with previous TV's. I've liked Samsung products all along. but this one is pretty diappointing.
Hi Lobo2626, We appreciate your feedback on the TU7000 TV's inputs; please know it will be shared with our internal teams. Although the Samsung TU7000 TV does not have AUX inputs, you can purchase an AUX to HDMI adapter, which will allow you to connect your movie player to your Samsung TV. I hope this tip helps improve your enjoyment. For more help, please call us at 1-800-SAMSUNG, 8 AM – 12 AM EST, seven days a week. Good picture, inconsistent results
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like a lot about this tv but there are a few things that will probably steer me away from getting the same type of tv in the future. For one, the picture will occasionally flicker Like a strobe light on the screen . The keyboard that appears for searches/logins with the suggested characters that appear make it take twice as long to type as anything I've used (which already is a tedious process to type anything with a remote) I use Hulu to watch tv, but for whatever reason Samsung's app is really buggy. If I use the app on any other device I have no problem, but Samsung's will constantly lag behind and be very choppy. It's not unusual for a lot of the apps on Samsung to be kind of buggy I hate the Samsung tv plus app that always turns on some random channel, there should be a feature to select your default app The general responsiveness of the home button and scrolling through the apps is sluggish and leaves a lot to be desired

Great TV
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Never thought about getting a Samsung until my current tv that I had for 1 year went dead! The picture is extremely clear in low level light and watching a movie is extremely vivid in color. Samsung will not disappoint!
BAD BAD BAD
it will not update. i have great wifi. tv shuts on and off by itself. my apps will not work. never had a problem with prior tvs. dont tell me to clean device. will not work properly. it freezes constantly. i just recently purchased this thing. really not a good television. paid arm and leg for this thing.
It's big, it's cheap, but it's flaky
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] pros: big & cheap - good value for size. one of only a few displays available @ 58". cons: flaky ui / interface with lagging and freezing. very picky hdmi connections, especially when using arc audio return channel. image is bright and 'crisp', but suffers from video 'noise' unless nr is turned on, which softens everything up. judder reduction feature caused 'soap opera effect' while turning it off gives a very poor viewing experience, especially for sports.
Anthony: Thank you for sharing your experience with the TU7000 TV. I am sorry that your TV is lagging & freezing periodically. Have you tried Device Care option? Go to Settings > Support> Device Care > Start Device Care This service checks memory and frees up unused cached memory and closes background apps. You can try the following steps to eliminate the soap opera effect. Navigate to Settings > Picture > Expert Settings Navigate to and Select Picture Clarity Settings The default setting is Auto. This means the feature automatically turns on and off based on the type of program being watched. Change the setting to either Off or Custom. If you select Custom, three additional options are available for further customization to your viewing preference. -Blur Reduction: Use the directional keys on the remote to adjust the Blur setting. -Judder Reduction: Use the directional keys on the remote to adjust the Judder setting. -LED Clear Motion: This option allows you to configure the LED backlight to sharpen fast-moving images. Select to turn On or Off. I hope this helps. I absolutely love this tv.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have two of these tvs. One in my room and one in my living area. I have the one downstairs hooked up to my Samsung sound bar system and my Xbox series x. It makes my gaming experience out of this world. I love this tv and would definitely recommend it.
