Customer reviews for Samsung 55" Class TU700D-Series Crystal Ultra HD 4K Smart TV UN55TU700DFXZA forSimple to Set Up
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Has all the basic Smart TV features with the clarity of 4K UHD. Was very easy to set up. All the apps for our streaming services were installed OR available in the Samsung store for free. We upgraded from a 40 inch class Samsung 1080p and the difference in clarity was very evident even on non 4k streams.
Solid choice
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) TU7000 offers a vibrant and immersive viewing experience. With its 4K resolution, the visuals are sharp and detailed, bringing content to life. The Crystal UHD technology enhances color and contrast, creating a vivid and realistic picture quality. The Smart TV features provide easy access to popular streaming services, and the Tizen operating system ensures a smooth and user-friendly interface. The sleek design adds a modern touch to any space.

Amazing tv!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this 58” Samsung tv! It's crystal clear for picture and very easy to use. It's not super loud as other TVs, when you turn it all the way up but the sound is nice and clear. It does require internet if you want to mirror you screen which is another downfall. But other then those two things I love the tv. Very little settings which I like. The remote is light and small which I like. The tv is also very lightweight compared to my old Samsung tv. I did have a little trouble mounting it but it's the mount we had. This tv is easy to set up. We use prime video and Disney plus apps. As for gaming we have a ps4 and let me just tell you it makes the games that much more better! Super clear and so lifelike. I highly recommend this tv!
Doesn't Work With PS3
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I could not get this to work at all with my PS3, it simply would not recognize what device it was. However, I purchased a PS4, and it picked it up fine. I own other models/brands, which regretfully, with no disrespect, are just better overall. Disappointed because I trust the Samsung name for other various devices and expected better.

Love my 65!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sizing is perfect. Looks so modern and slick with minimal outside edge showing. Quick response and awesome picture settings. Love how easy it is to sync with my Samsung phone and how smooth the transistions from apps to different input sources. Very happy with every Samsung tv I've owned over the years and this 4k TV is everything I had hoped and more.
For the price it's a good tv
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It has amazing contrast with the edge lit backlight but lacks HDR colors when connected to a computer however it can be powered by a battery operated power supply so u can watch TV even if the power is out. I couldn't say the same about my other one so well done samsung

Used Mainly For Gaming Meets Needs
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My children use this TV to play on their X Box Series X & stream videos on YouTube & that's about it. The picture is exceptionally clear & there seem to be no lags with game play, either live game play or otherwise & we don't experience any issues with buffering/ lags with audio & video when streaming or any other problems. The audio is crisp very & loud; it IS in a fairly small room about 12'x18', given the size of the TV, so I'd be interested in comparing it to how it'd sound in our living room that has a cathedral ceiling & is open to both our living & dining rooms & entryway (NO walls). The TV was ridiculously easy to set up, pair to my S20 & register, my 6 yr old prob could've done it. I honestly can't imagine a better TV experience. Hopefully it doesn't have the app limitations that our previous Samsung TV does; we can't utilize as many apps as we'd like to due to a message that tells us there is not enough room on the TV for more apps; odd, because there are less than 10 & I we've also had difficulty removing things (apps) from it. Again, referring to a Samsung flat screen purchased in 2018, not the Crystal UHD TU7000 I'm currently reviewing. I don't see us being another TV anytime soon, but I know when we do, that will be a Samsung as well. Pleased with purchase.
Beautiful
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great for the kids living room upstairs. They love it, and I love the price. Not as many bells & whistles as our main TV downstairs but gorgeous enough that the kids are awed. Picture and sound quality are good and I love having it connected to my phone, so I can control how much and what the kids watch.
Always buy Samsung but this one has some issues
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The graphics and visuals are as expected. The user interface functions as does on other Samsungs which I love. Two biggest issues: (1) using the interface is slow.... like really slow... it has a lag that makes you end up selecting the wrong thing (2) the internet disconnects. It is not an internet connectivity issue because all other devices and internet are performing fine, but if you don't use the TV a few days then the internet doesn't connect and you have to reset it, EVERY TIME! It gets quite annoying when you just want to watch something on a streaming platform and have to do this each time.
Hi usuallySamsung, Thank you for sharing your experience with the TU7000 TV and feedback on the slow UI. We know how frustrating it can be if your product is not working as expected. We have a few troubleshooting tips that should help resolve the slow UI and connectivity issues. First, let's ensure your firmware is up to date. Please go to Settings> Support > Software Update. You can easily update your firmware from here. Next, to optimize performance further, we will utilize the self-diagnostic tool, which checks memory, frees up unused cached memory, and closes background apps. Go to Settings > Support > Device Care > Start Device Care. If you’re experiencing issues with the Wi-Fi connection, we suggest you try the following: 1. Use 5Ghz Wi-Fi if possible 2. Try wired LAN if available 3. Try repositioning the router so there are no obstacles between your TV and the router I hope these tips resolve your lag and connectivity issues.
