Great Picture Quality But Bad User Interface

the good* the picture quality is very good. my father-in-law has a top end samsung and the picture quality of his is not much better than this tv. also it has pretty good sound quality as well. the bad* the user interface is horrible. initially the on screen menu was kind of slow, but it was manageable. i figured that maybe it would be fixed in future updates. however, i was wrong with that assumption. my tv finally got an update on 1/27 and the on screen menu actually got worse. it is actually almost unnavigable now. when i press the arrow keys to move from item to item there is serious lag, and sometimes the cursor doesn't move at all and then skips over three or four spaces at once. this needs to be fixed asap. until it is i would not recommend purchasing this tv.

This TV is the best color and picture.

If there is anything that I didn't understand that is pretty self explained in the setup and manual. I recommend this one to my friends and family

Feels like a movie screen!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I purchased this TV two years ago, I was pleasantly surprised with what I bought. This is easily one of the best electronic purchases I ever made. It was definitely an upgrade from the previous television I had. Not only does the TV feel like a movie screen, it comes with a variety of streaming apps to download. I have no complaints with my TV. As a matter of fact, I never had any issues with Samsung appliances or electronics.

Great TV, impressive sound

This TV made me a loyal Samsung TV customer. The remote is responsive, the sound is super impressive for a TV, you can find any app you want, and the movie mode is great because it removes the unnatural look that the HD processing can create. The physical frame of the TV is ultra slim and has a modern look; it's basically all screen, very clean look. I used to buy Vizio and had multiple problems with slowness and software glitches... I'll keep buying Samsung from now on.

I love this TV.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Like I said above, I love my Samsung TV but, there are a couple of features that I wish it had. Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision would be nice. That being said, I mostly use my TV to stream video and music from apps that I can download directly to my TV. Some the features that I use most often are Game Mode and turn off monitor when I'm streaming music. All around it's a great TV and I would recommend Samsung over other makers.

It's a SPECTACULAR TV

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use my Samsung TV for my PC and use it for my gaming consoles ie: Playstation 4 Switch Wii Playstation 3 and I use it for watching movies I donr currently have cable so it works great for me with my computer i usually keep to myself go to work and then home... I bought the TV cause I wanted to see what 4k was like... im not really up to date with the entertainment in TV business but when it comes to computers and phones EVERYTHING I OWN IS SAMSUNG... I trust the brand and really enjoy your PRODUCTS as I tell people LIFE ISNT GOOD UNLESS YA HAVE SAMSUNG.... it is a Trusted Name and great products come from that....

Samsung 55" TV

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Streaming It's a nice TV, my 2 complaints are getting it to update, won't do it and it can be a little slow responding to the remote. Great picture, good size, we actually have 2 of the same model. 1 in the living room, 1 in the master bedroom.

Had to upgrade

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had the 43 inch in the living room. Upgraded to 55 (who doesn't love a bigger screen), same model! Wouldn't have gotten any other brands or models if I wasn't satisfied with my 43 inch. Also love how it comes with Samsung TV (no cable, so can watch real tv without streaming).

Too many issues

i have problems every day with the remote not responding. i always have to go unolug the tv and plug it back in to work. this happens with tv remitted and the cable box remote. also if sometimes it doesnt even recognize the device plugged into the hdmi ports. it is so frustrating. i bought this at christmas, updated the software several times, and still have these issues. i night this samsung because i had such a good experience with my first, but this has been horrible.

In addition to that, you may want to the self-diagnosis tools built in that can help solve problems with signal, network, picture, or sound. Go to Settings > Support> Device Care > Start Device Care You may also want to clear out your TV's temporary storage space by pressing and holding the Power button for 6 seconds until your TV turns off and back on again. Unhappy with this purchase

the television arrived with one hd port not functioning. the sound system has to be turned to 46-59 to hear. my previous samsung volume was 9-15. can't see when a movie in in a evening scene. went to adjust brightness it was already at the brightest setting. tried different modes and that does not help. only had this television since february and the one hd port working has failed 4 times. i get it working by unplugging and plugging the cord back in. having been a faithful owner of the samsung brand for many many years this experience has changed my mind.
