Too many issues

i have problems every day with the remote not responding. i always have to go unolug the tv and plug it back in to work. this happens with tv remitted and the cable box remote. also if sometimes it doesnt even recognize the device plugged into the hdmi ports. it is so frustrating. i bought this at christmas, updated the software several times, and still have these issues. i night this samsung because i had such a good experience with my first, but this has been horrible.

Chuck: I am sorry that you are experiencing issues with your TU7000 4K Smart TV. I am glad to hear that you have already updated your software to the latest version. In addition to that, you may want to the self-diagnosis tools built in that can help solve problems with signal, network, picture, or sound. Go to Settings > Support> Device Care > Start Device Care You may also want to clear out your TV's temporary storage space by pressing and holding the Power button for 6 seconds until your TV turns off and back on again. To troubleshoot your HDMI connection, please try the following: 1) Power off all HDMI devices connected to TV 2) Disconnect all HDMI cables from TV 3) Power off and unplug the TV's power cord from the wall outlet 4) Press and hold the TV power button for 30 seconds 5) Reconnect HDMI cables back to HDMI ports on TV 6) Re-plug the TV's power cord back into the wall outlet and check the TV. Reliable, but UI could be better

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good picture, quick to turn on and I like that when I turn on an input (such as a console) the TV will automatically turn on and switch to the correct input. Only thing I have noticed it from time to time the screen will begin flickering rapidly. It's not super noticeable but can be annoying. It's always been fixed by just unplugging and plugging it back in however. The smart hub is alright, but it's really not that great in terms of user experience. It doesn't have a section for your recently used applications and never has suggested applications for you. You have to manually navigate to the application you want every single time. Overall, it's much easier to just use a FireTV stick or a similar product since the UI is so much better.

Almost 4 stars

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The quality of picture is great. My only dissatisfaction is with the smart tv interface and the remote. I will likely switch to another smart tv device. The embedded apps are annoying, especially ones I will never use. Also the remote is poorly designed for my bigger fingers. Return keys and arrow keys should be more pronounced. A lighted keypad and microphone would be a nice addition.

This product could use an update

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this product for gaming and streaming mainly. TV will kick itself offline sometimes. Could use a system update and better streaming apps update in Google Store. It's been a good t.v for the price. Clear picture.

Go Out and Get this Amazing TV!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My TV is actually the TU8000 Samsung Crystal UHD, which is an even larger model if you can imagine. I use my Amazing TV for streaming, watching movies, and it has enhanced my life even further while working from home for the last year. Putting in long hours from the home office , stationary at the desk and chair can get very boring and achey. My Awesome picture perfect with vivid display makes life easier by casting my laptop to this 85 inches of pure beauty. I can quickly complete spreadsheets, watch webcast meetings in comfort and so much more. The TV was super easy to set up as 1,2,3 and instantly recognized my wifi. I get complements from everyone that sees this Samsung beauty in my media room. The price for the 85 inch is DEFINITELY worth it. Who needs the movie theaters to reopen when you have this! Samsung continues to deliver and impress , no cons here. Word to the wise, go out and get it, you'll truly be glad you did!

Inexpensive TV with great Samsung connectivity

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We use our Samsung TV on near daily basis. Picture quality is great for us, and white the sound could be better it's so pretty good considering the size of the speakers. I have used the Samsung DEX feature on my Galaxy grill time to time and it is a flawless transition and a great way to get something in the TV for the whole family to see. The largest issue I have with the unit is only having 2 HDMI ports. I've had to purchase a separate HDMI switch to be able to keep all of my video and gaming devices plugged in.

Second time

first tv started going off and on within a couple of days. had to return and ordered another to give it one more try. the second one i've had for a little over a week and so far it's been perfect. love everything about it except the samsung app. very intrusive and cannot remove. other than that i'll just have to wait and see how this one holds up. i'm a little worried after reading some of the reviews and the problems that started within months of setting them up and too late to return. i have a few more weeks so if any kind of problem occurs i will definitely return and get another brand. i've owned samsung products throughout the years and all have been exceptional products, even my last tv.

Samsung TV

My other one had some apps but nothing like this one and I have been very pleased at the ease of the learning g curve of using my Samsung TV. I love the vibrance of the colors. Great features

The picture in impeccible.

i did not give it all 5 stars because trying to use the smart tv function through connection to the internet makes it complicated and slow to access what is far easier to watch by connecting it by hdmi to a laptop. just use one hdmi for the laptop and one hdmi for a video disc player, and the internal tuner built into the tv by connecting it to an over the air tv antenna on a tower and you will have everything you need. do not connect it to your internet account because it is hard to get rid of the mess it makes out of turning it on to watch a tv show or to choose an hdmi. keep it simple and leave these extras out of your installation for the best picture you can find anywhere.
