Bought this a few days ago to replace a 5 year old Samsung Smart TV Model UN48J520DAF that lost sound recently but still had a great picture. Everyone said TVs are too expensive to repair, so replace it. Upgraded to 55". Based on descriptions of all the image enhancing features of the new models, I expected a great picture. Nope. Doesn't even look as good as old TV. Some shows colors looks pale. Viewed at all from the side, fading is even worse. This is frustrating. I'm not very tech savvy. Wondering if some settings need adjusting. Considering returning it and getting a Samsung QLED (more than I want to spend) or switch to Sony instead.

The only issue I've had is not being able to stream from my iPhone to the TV. I had the app and watched movies from iPhone for months then suddenly it just quit working. I think it was an iPhone upgrade that caused it to quit.

beautiful tv; beautiful picture after much tweaking & updating; blurry at first but the update(s) should have remedied that. tv speaker is sub-par; i have a soundbar now which makes a big difference. cons: i do not like the interface; the apps are all over the place; very disorganized and cluttered. don't like the remote control! it's tedious to navigate. updating: there is an automatic update feature in your settings, but i went into samsung's web site to check for a possible download which there was, & you must save it to a "flash drive". make sure to unzip the files then insert it into your tv's usb port to load. though i am quite capable of doing this, not everyone is. it is an inconvenience. still it is a quality tv for the price and samsung is one of the best.

The only part of am not fond of is that we a movie is showing a panoramic view of countryside, it looks likes it warped. I use the tv for watching movies and shows. I do not do gaming or the like. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Samsung TVs have the Best picture quality, most easy to use and accessible. I use my phone and computer with this TV. Easy to figure out the Remote and easy to figure out menus and fast at downloading multiple Apps and multiple TV channels. Samsung's memory remembers your addresses and passwords allowing you fast access. Easy to hook up devices through WIFI but also has enough Ports to connect for directly connecting cameras, camcorders, etc. There is also an Ethernet connection if you wish. Very Good Display and Good Picture with all the features that anyone needs for anything. In conclusion, I have bought other brands that were crappy that don't even last 3 months . Samsung TVs offer all the features, are long lasting and durable. Nothing ever goes wrong, you just find more that you get in a Samsung TV than any other TV. Samsung TVs get A++'s

limited by space, i did want to upgrade to something a little bit bigger and a little bit smarter than our older 55” tv. we bought this tv and a samsung sound bar. unfortunately, the tv picture was just “meh”, -average at best. long story short, after trying every setting, we returned the tv and ended up with a 55” with a much better picture but from a different brand. the soundbar, however, is awesome.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had high hopes when buying the TV in April 2020 but I have been disappointed. First, the sound quality is an issue. It seems every show/channel I watch requires a dramatically different level of volume. One channel its set to 15, another channel its has to be up to 80. I know its the TV because I had the exact same setup of channels on my previous TV and never had the issue. Secondly, there is a lag in remote performance. Always, even after multiple updates, no change. Lastly and most importantly, the picture quality is very concerning. Overall brightness is not very good. Beware if you have a lot of natural light in the room. Also, sometimes it decides to pick a specific color, say green, and change it to a blinding white or solid black with persistent digitized appearance. The only remedy is to unplug the TV which seems to correct the issue for a few days. I thought this might update related or a specific streaming service thing with incoming signal but it happens on every type of input and after multiple updates. I will be contacting Samsung service on the next occurrence as this seems to be a persistent issue per reviews starting in May/June timeframe but not before. Hopefully they can resolve the issues. When there are no issues, the TV looks great and is a good value, especially at the current price.

The tv is lightweight. I Love the sound, the picture quality is absolutely phenomenal! So crisp!everything is easily adjustable. I love the built in apps makes it easy for her to watch tv. Great tv!

The picture quality is above par to comparable models Well the things I like is a functionality of the smart features, they are user-friendly, easy to use, very intuitive, and provide a lot of functionality. The TV itself sits on a very sturdy base I am never really concerned with it potentially falling over or anything like that. The remote control is is exactly what I need. All in all this is a great TV for the price!
