I thought I was the only one having problems with closing the snack bags, but then I read some reviews. Usually you just slide them closed with your fingers easily but not these. I don't know if Ziploc let a bad batch get out or what. I've never had a problem like this before. I bought the 180 count box so I don't want to just throw them out. But I've been tempted after all the frustration with closing them. It's very frustrating when you try to close them quickly when the school bus shows up early. You have to hope part of it closes and then try to press the rest of it closed. Sometimes leaving openings. If the closing problem is fixed these bags are great.

We have always used Ziploc brand snack bags and been very pleased with the quality. However, since Ziploc changed to the new "easy open" style, they are incredibly difficult to close and extremely frustrating, so much so that we will not buy Ziploc snack bags anymore. Unless, they are fixed - PLEASE fix the zipper! Thank you

I receive the free sample in the mail - Awesome! Not only because they were free, but because they came in handy. They can be used for measuring out 100 calorie snack to help with cutting calories; ideal size for my toddler grandchildrens' snacks, leftovers, they fit in nicely!

I love the snack size ZipLoc bags, the old ones. These new "Easy Tab" bags are terrible.I purchased some this week so I could prep easy snacks for my son, who is three, but I was very disappointed. I started out with the opened box, regular ziploc, and the prep was a breeze, i had an assembly line going... then i opened the "Easy Tabs" and got so frustrated i had to walk away. They are so hard to seal closed. It makes my weekly lunch prep so much more difficult. I will definitely not purchase this brand again. I unfortunately opened the box so my local store refused to take them back, so we had to use them. My husband and I got about 70% of them to close, the rest we just threw away I haven't seen the regular snack bags in the store lately. So when I

I bought these thinking the top would be easier to close for the kids. Well it's easier for them but the bottoms splits open and their crackers, carrots, etc ends up all over their lunchbox. This I has happened several times. I will be returning them.

With so many negative reviews, are you getting the message Ziploc? When is Ziploc going to bring back the old 'better' bags. Your 'new coke' has failed miserably, what do you do, make it worse? My take is, I'm not an idiot fool that needs some big ugly flap that works really poorly.

nice for keeping snacks contained and easy to use. Easily opened by children so if they are in the backseat while you are driving you won't have to pull over or try to drive one handed to open their snacks.Perfect size for snacks and keeps items fresh and flavorful.

Your new design for "Easy Open" certainly does work great.....however, first you have to get them closed! Many, many, many of us are having on-going troubles getting these new bags to close. I see from other reviews that your response is that we shouldn't be having these troubles but WE ARE so I believe you need to address the FACT that your customers are having problems. It is utterly impossible for my grandchildren to re-close the snack bag if they aren't finishing the whole of the bags contents. If there is a trick, please post it on your website.

The new easy open tab might make the bags a tiny bit easier to open, but they are so difficult to seal and especially hard to reseal (this is true for all the sizes I've bought - not just the snack size)! I hate them and plan on trying a generic brand. I don't know that I've ever bought anything other than Ziplock before!

Your new Ziploc "Easy Open Tab" bags are worthless. Have been using Ziplocs for decades and your recent redesign will force me go to start using another brand. They new bags are almost impossible to close/seal; it takes multiple attempts to get them to seal. Do you people ever test these things to see if they work before you push them out? Did you think we would be distracted by the colorful tab? They are junk, pure junk!
