I received a free box of Ziploc Easy Open Tabs Snack Bags courtesy of SC Johnson. These little bags are fantastic! So versatile -- The snack size Ziploc bags are the perfect size for a block of cheese (6-8 oz), they hold crackers perfectly, cat snacks, lunch box snacks, everything from paperclips to safety pins, and many other items. Easy to open, they are great for kids and people that have a hard time opening and closing traditional zip bags. Wonderful for organizing small items in the office, small kids' toys (such as beads, craft items or stickers), even for little kitchen items. Fabulous product!

I love the snack size ZipLoc bags, the old ones. These new "Easy Tab" bags are terrible.I purchased some this week so I could prep easy snacks for my son, who is three, but I was very disappointed. I started out with the opened box, regular ziploc, and the prep was a breeze, i had an assembly line going... then i opened the "Easy Tabs" and got so frustrated i had to walk away. They are so hard to seal closed. It makes my weekly lunch prep so much more difficult. I will definitely not purchase this brand again. I unfortunately opened the box so my local store refused to take them back, so we had to use them. My husband and I got about 70% of them to close, the rest we just threw away I haven't seen the regular snack bags in the store lately. So when I

I have always used 4 sizes of Ziplock bags (Gallon, Quart, Sandwich, and Snack) and am greatly disappointed with the change to "Easy Open". While the concept is great for the helpful 'opening' part, the 'closing' part is a nightmare, especially on the snack size baggies. After a dozen (or more) attempts to use these, I am annoyed and frustrated thus leading to the bags getting tossed in favor of a plastic container with a snap on lid. I use baggies (hence the 4 sizes in my drawer) for a plethora of reasons - snacks, toiletries, crafts, medications, freezing, etc., and am now faced with either finding a different brand or using a different storage/travel vessel altogether. Please rethink the mechanism of the 'zipper' on these baggies and employ some QA testing to find out how these can be improved - or restored - to their former ease of closing. Ziplock has always been my go-to brand and I would like to continue relying on your company and your products.

With so many negative reviews, are you getting the message Ziploc? When is Ziploc going to bring back the old 'better' bags. Your 'new coke' has failed miserably, what do you do, make it worse? My take is, I'm not an idiot fool that needs some big ugly flap that works really poorly.

I'm extremely disappointed with the new bags. It's really great that they have pretty tabs to help open them more easily. Unfortunately I don't need the extra help opening them BECAUSE I CAN'T GET THEM CLOSED!! Until you fix them I'll be buying another brand.

The design of the new bags with the green "easy open tabs" was a great idea. But they are so difficult to close that I'm sorry I bought them. A bag of this type should be kid friendly, but they're not even adult friendly. Will never buy these again unless there is a redesign that makes them easy to close.

I have used Ziploc bags since I was a kid, I never buy other brands because Ziploc use to be the best. Not anymore, I can not repeat can not get these closed! If you manage to get them closed they are ok, but what is the point if I put them in my in my kids lunch if they can't close them. I thought maybe it was a box that I got was bad, but that is not the case my second box will not close either. Unfortunately I will not be buying any more in the future unless something changes.

I was excited about finding some snack bags for my husbands lunch. I cannot use them because it takes me more time to try to close them than to make his lunch. I thought it might be me or a bad batch until I read the rest of the reviews. And your answer to those reviews is not very reassuring. You don't seem to make any effort to correcting the problem. They do not protect what is inside because they won't close. They are not easy to use - they are frustrating! I am sorry I wasted my money on these bags. I give them a zero rating.

Whatever was done to the locking mechanism in the latest redesign is completely awful. They're "Easy Open" because they don't close. I use these for protein powder when I travel and maybe three out of every 5 bags never closes all the way and my powder ends up all over everything. The old snack bags were perfect, but I won't be buying these again,

I bought the snack size bags because they said easy open. Once I started using these bags I could not CLOSE 95% of the time. I'm so happy that I didn't buy the sandwich bags also at the time. I don't think I'll be going back to buying your bags unless I hear that they are making them easier to close.
