I use baggies for everything; food, gifts, rubber bands, paperclips, etc. We do not like to make last minute trips to the store. Having bags of all sizes on hand is necessary to keep us going. We like to have dry cereal snacks handy, so the snack size is perfect. Sandwiches are a staple and thus sandwich baggies are a necessity. I bake so gallon baggies are helpful. Depending on good solid quality items makes us realize that paying for name brand and searching for our favorites are worth the extra!

I received this as a prize I won in a contest. My family loves the snack size, it is perfect for taking that snack on the go and if we do not finish it easily closes back up for later. Keeping chips, pretzels fresh and ready to go. Also great for small storage, we use them for a few crayons on the go without taking the whole crayon box with us.

I just went to replenish our inventory of snack bags to find they are now imported from Thailand. Why would we not be able to make such a simple product in the United States anymore? We won't be putting our fresh foods in a bag that has traveled so far and been made under unknown conditions. Fortunately, there are many competitive brands still made in the U.S.A. and we will be shifting our business elsewhere.

I HATE these bags! They just will not close and I have already put way too much time into trying to "zip" them shut! They need to be taken off the market and replaced with wide, multi strips that will give that satisfying "click" when sealed. I will never buy again and will probably throw away the ones I have left unless I can get a refund.

The new easy open tab might make the bags a tiny bit easier to open, but they are so difficult to seal and especially hard to reseal (this is true for all the sizes I've bought - not just the snack size)! I hate them and plan on trying a generic brand. I don't know that I've ever bought anything other than Ziplock before!

I use the Ziploc snack size to store cooked chicken in the freezer for my Malteese Charlie. He can not have salt so I cook him his favorite food boiled chicken. I boil 5 pounds of chicken breast and cut it up into small pieces. I usually use 20 to 25 Ziploc snack size bags and freeze them in a larger Freezer Ziploc bag and get out only 3 bags out to thaw in the fridge. This 61 year old grandmother of 8 CAN NOT SEAL YOUR SNACK SIZE BAGS!! It irks me every time I cook Charlie's chicken! I purchased them because I thought they would be easy to close since it said EASY OPEN TABS ON THE BOX! I assumed the EASY OPEN TABS WOULD ALSO BE EASY CLOSE TABS! Not the case! PLEASE MAKE A PRODUCT THAT EVEN GRANDMOTHERS WITH ARTHRITIS IN HER HANDS CAN OPEN AND CLOSE!!! I would be more than happy to pay a little more for this! PERHAPS A SNACK SIZE SLIDER!!

I still have some of the "old" snack size bags - so I can compare them side by side. I like the old seal - and also - the plastic bag material is thicker. Perhaps the seal re-design was really to mask the fact that the bag material is thinned out?????? Based on this - I think I will just try the generic store brands from now on - really - it was the seal and thicker plastic that kept me from buying generic - now there is nothing stopping me - and it is cheaper!!!

I have used Ziploc bags since I was a kid, I never buy other brands because Ziploc use to be the best. Not anymore, I can not repeat can not get these closed! If you manage to get them closed they are ok, but what is the point if I put them in my in my kids lunch if they can't close them. I thought maybe it was a box that I got was bad, but that is not the case my second box will not close either. Unfortunately I will not be buying any more in the future unless something changes.

I use the snack bags often and thought I was getting regular snack bags. I got these easy open snack bags and am very frustrated each time I use them because they are very hard to close. Sometimes I spill the contents because they didn't get closed properly. I will never buy this type of ziploc bags again.

The new easy open feature may be valuable to some. For me it's ok but not required -- definitely not something that would make me select this brand over another. However, the snack bags with this feature will NOT SEAL. This has been so frustrating that I will be searching out another brand of snack bags. The sandwich bags seem to be ok.
