This was the best decision I made! I purchased a remanufactured unit and couldn't be happier. The setup was amazingly easy and the app also is easy to use and understand. It connected to my mesh without any issues. Anyone in the house can easily connect to it and the print quality is great! I replaced an HP inkjet printer which was never connected and once it would the cartridges would be dried up. Brother makes a quality product and doesn't bombard you with "offers" in order to use it.

Brother refurbished did not work right out of the box. Endless alarm about a blockage. I finally found a sensor was stuck in the special paper slot. Tore it apart and cycled it several times and it cleared the problem. I had to re-adhere the sensor and it was good to go. The printer works great. The scanner works fine. I haven't tried to fax.

This printer stinks. Manual feed virtually never works. Whether I put the paper firmly into the feed slot or gently, it gives a "Jam Manual Feed" message and will not take the paper. It will often ignore my print settings which specify "Tray 1" and insist that it print from the Manual Feed. The print quality is atrocious. I often need to print something several times in order to get a clean copy that does not have "ghostly" printing over the actual document. There is generally no helpful information online (on the Brother website or otherwise) to address these problems. It is extremely frustrating to work with this horror. And it is very upsetting to have spent so much money for something that works so poorly.

Getting this machine set up and running was a breeze. In no time, I got the app on the phone linked with the machine as well, and got right to printing from my mobile phone. Printing and scanning has been great, colors are crisp and clear, no issues with the UI on the machine, but I have used Brother devices for many years now. The ONLY issue I have come across is trying to print two-sided on thicker card stock paper. The machine refuses to do it, and it always jams. I have to feed it from the front feed and flip it manually.

Easy to set up, get online via wireless or Ethernet, and basically sets up in your phone and computer easily. The functions and options are vast but easy to understand and use. This is my 2nd Brother and I wouldn't change brands. It's reliable, and there's never a doubt or holdout about whether it's going to print or if it will be formatted correctly. Just easy printing. Auto feeder for copying and scanner, just lay in what you want copied, select color in black and white and in moments you can have a multi page document copied pristinely. It also scans well and easily to whatever program you choose to use. N connecting different drives or clouds is very easy. You can save it or email or fax it right from the printer. This has it all. It's worth it to have the color ink if you have anything that will need any hint of color, be it a logo or splash for an accent. The b&w are great but if you're going out, go all out. At least give yourself the option for the future. I bought this to replace my MFC-9130CW, which only needed a single part to be operational again. I bought it about 10 years ago when starting grad school because I like info on paper versus on a screen, and the laser is the way to go if you'll be printing a lot. It's more economical than any ink. (Although they have huge tanks now).

Takes too long to start printing. The real problem however is that everytime the printer starts up, it makes the nearby lamps flicker once and when it is printng the lamps keep flickering until the printing is complete. It happens only to two lamp that are on the same circuit. My house is relatively modern, having been built in 2004 so antiquated wiring is not the problem.

I have paper Jams every day. I what to send it back.

Easy setup, low maintenance, just works

Machine prints and scans well. It is difficult to wirelessly fax as software is not included for wireless faxing. Was using an HP machine and wirelessly faxing was very easy to accomplish on HP.

In my opinion Brother printers are better than HP, Canon, or Dell. They are trouble free and built to last a long time. I highly recommend Brother MFCL3765CDW and any product they sell. They have a great reputation for making reliable products.
