Loving it so far!

This is my first laser printer after years and years of inkjets. I was really tired of having to buy all that expensive ink and my HP was great at first but it started drying up unless I printed every single day. I wasted several nearly full cartridges because of that. So I decided I would rather pay for toner cartridges that lasted longer and didn't dry up -- cheaper in the long run for me. The Brother color all-in-one has been flawless since I got it several months ago. It's extremely fast and print quality can't be beat. I'm not crazy about the interface for printing, scanning, copying, etc. It's not very intuitive but I'll eventually get used to it.

Terrible

This printer stinks. Manual feed virtually never works. Whether I put the paper firmly into the feed slot or gently, it gives a "Jam Manual Feed" message and will not take the paper. It will often ignore my print settings which specify "Tray 1" and insist that it print from the Manual Feed. The print quality is atrocious. I often need to print something several times in order to get a clean copy that does not have "ghostly" printing over the actual document. There is generally no helpful information online (on the Brother website or otherwise) to address these problems. It is extremely frustrating to work with this horror. And it is very upsetting to have spent so much money for something that works so poorly.

Printer is Great/Website Needs Work

Printer works very well. Good print resolution, reasonably quick and reliable. WiFi connection works flawlessly. Only complaint is the website for ordering supplies. Slow to respond. Doesn't take address unless verified by Postal Service which in my case is a problem. At least there are alternatives out there for ordering supplies, including genuine Brother products, that work better.

Brother printers are better than HP, Canon or Dell

In my opinion Brother printers are better than HP, Canon, or Dell. They are trouble free and built to last a long time. I highly recommend Brother MFCL3765CDW and any product they sell. They have a great reputation for making reliable products.

One of the best home printers and office grade

One of the best printers for home I have ever owned. Near office grade quality. However, can't access the Refresh subscription feature. The toner cartridges are fairly pricy.

Problems too soon

I haven't even printed 50 pages and there's an alignment problem where printed text looks like the old fashion 3D effect where the black text has a fuzzy color halo effect.

not as good as my old 8910 printer.

Numerous problems with losing connectiion to my computer. Constantly getting popups that something is not connected. Will not print on both sides. Some color issues printing loses some of the color.

The Right Printer

Excellent printer, easy installation, quality printing, and ready when I need it. Fed up with HP, went outside my comfort zone and opted for this printer, and I am glad I did.

Needs further R&D

Needs furthur development. 1. Manual feed irregular and clunky 2. Lower resolution then previous Brother color laser 3. Can't reset toner carts any longer. :-( I always reset and ran until prints show color shift... weeks later!!!

Good printer with debatable Brother refurbishing

Brother refurbished did not work right out of the box. Endless alarm about a blockage. I finally found a sensor was stuck in the special paper slot. Tore it apart and cycled it several times and it cleared the problem. I had to re-adhere the sensor and it was good to go. The printer works great. The scanner works fine. I haven't tried to fax.
