I'm happy with almost everything about this printer except that when scanning it cuts a few millimeters off the sides. I'm taking a star off because of the hours I spent trying to figure this out. I ended up glueing a little 10mm x 10mm grid to all 4 corners of a piece of letter paper, and found that using Brother's iPrint&Scan application to scan produces an image that is 2479x3230 and cuts 3mm off the top and left sides and 4mm off the bottom and right sides, whereas using Mac's Preview application to scan produces an image that is 2544x3303 and cuts 2mm off of only the right side. So I will stop using Brother's application. As for that 2mm, I wonder if it's a manufacturing defect where they just misaligned the scanner and the glass bed. If so Brother's QA is disappointing. 2mm probably doesn't make a difference for scanning documents, but it sure does for scanning images. Also I wish the document feeder for the printer had a little folding extension to keep the paper straight. Really surprised it doesn't, since the scanner feeder and the printer output both have folding extensions.

Works ok. Easy setup using Windows11. Not as good as the Brother all in one that it replaced. Does not do 2 sided scanning. Display screen is small.

Didn't realize the native drivers wouldn't work with my ARM laptop. Are you going to write some drivers?

Printer is working well, but getting it to scan requires going into the app and clicking on another place which u can’t remember. It’s very annoying.

This printer functions perfectly. I’m very pleased. It’s an from our last Brother printer that last for 13 years. Hope this one does as well.

We've found this printer very difficult just to set up, let alone use. Extremely frustrating. Will likely replace with an HP.

My 2nd Brother Color Laserjet, replaced a 10 year old unit that was still working perfectly. New model added fax and scan capabilities.

Pages come out curled. Envelopes come out crinkled. Definitely should've stuck with hp. Have had 2 brothers printers now and they have not been a good experience.

I'm probably 12 hours into getting this thing set up. I'm reasonably tech savvy, but I don't know that I'll ever get all of this thing's features installed. It prints and it will finally scan, but the PC-FAX function doesn't look like it will ever work. This is necessary if you don't have a land line. Affordable, nice print quality, fairly quiet, seems well made, but setup sucks. If you're buying for a business & have professional IT staff, maybe you'd be fine.
