Lasted less than a year. Used on a daily basis for moderate use. Used lubricant paper on a regular basis. Only 1-3 pages at a time. Bought a second as a replacement because of the good price. If the next one is the same, time to move on to something more high-quality.

after only 6 months of use i returned the first shredder i bought when it quit working. i just replaced it with the same shredder a month ago. It is also not working as it should be already. when i put the paper in to shred it makes a turn of the cutting blades once, turns off, starts making a turn shredding and then turns of. this continues taking about 2 minutes to run a single sheet of paper through it. It will be making a trip back to the store. i believe there is a short of some kind.

We bought this shredder on 12/31 - the first time we tried to use it, it wouldn't turn on, so we exchanged it. The 2nd one worked great the first time we used it. The second time, however, it didn't work, so we returned it. Looking for another one :-(

I bought this shredder and was so happy with it then everything I put paper in it will not shredder it pulsating and I have to hold on button to keep pulsating to shredder paper. What a disappointment. It started at very beginning but only once in a while now have to hold power button to make it shredder. 1 star.

I bought one of these shredders and was pleased with it until it stopped working. Thinking that Members Mark product have a lifetime warranty I took it back to the store. The person who helped me said, "anything with a cord only has a 90 day return period" she was kind enough to make an exception but. After this experience I would not purchase another.

I bought this about 3 months ago. It started pulsating about 4 weeks ago but stopped after a day. It started again yesterday and I can't get it to stop now. I found a u-tube video about cleaning the sensors but that was a waste of time. So this shredder is worthless to me. I am cancelling my membership because of this. It's a piece of junk and I will not recommend to anyone.

This shredder sucks. Flat out sucks. Jams up after a few feeds of 2-3 pages, feeder never worked, warranty did not address these issues, I could not be more disappointed in this shredder. I literally threw it out Way too frustrating. Sorry to be so negative but I gave this thing almost 2 years and it did nothing but disappoint. There you go.

I don't usually bother writing a review unless a product is really exceptional or is really bad so after using the shredder, I had to give it 5 stars. My old shredder died, and after reading reviews, went with this shredder and so far, I am pretty happy with this model. It is so much quieter than my old one, shreds much smaller, and has a fan so it does not overheat as quickly as my old one. I also love that it is on wheels so it is easier to move around. The only issue that I had was putting in too much paper and causing a jam. It was not really easy to get it out (the old one never had this issue so that is the only plus for the old one!) Both my shredders have never matched the paper limit and I have found that 2 or 3 sheets max is the best route if I don't want to overload the shredder.

Very happy with this home office shredder. Some have said it is noisy but I don't find it anymore so than the much more expensive Fellows shredder it replaced. I like the fact that once finished shredding, the blades automatically reverse and clear any bits of paper that might have been left behind and a small, quiet fan is there to cool the blades. The bin is adequate for average shredding and is easy to empty; the see through side lets me know as it fills. I have not tested the page capacity stated, I have no reason to shred 12 pages at once but it easily handles 5 or 6 pages. It shreds paper into tiny confetti making it impossible to reassemble the pieces. The rollers make it easy to reposition though I have no need to move it. Overall it is a good shredder and I'm happy I bought it, certainly a cost savings compared to the overpriced competitor brands and for home or home office use, it is perfect.

Less than four months after purchasing with light household use, this unit started shedding just an inch of material at a time. This is absurd and incredibly frustrating. Of course it is outside the eligible return window. I’ve never had a shredder last less than 5 years. I highly recommend that you avoid this product.
