Very happy with this purchase. Wasn’t planning on buying a new shredder, but my small shredder just couldn't handle the volume of papers that I always seem to have. I did have to purchase shredder oil so I can oil it as recommended. Love that it rolls & has a window to show how full it is. A great time saver for me!

Out of the box, it was easy to set up. It was basically plug and play. Other than that, it shreds paper very well. The size of the shredded paper was very small, basically 3/16"x1/2". During the shredding process, it was fairly quiet as well, way quieter than my previous shredder. As for the housing, it's pretty solid where the basket slid in and out pretty easy and also locks in place when inserted. The switches and buttons are pretty large and easy to activate or manipulate. Overall, this is one good paper shredder for the price you pay. This is way more affordable than the other brand names out there and does the same or even better shredding in comparison.

For home use, this shreader has an enormous amount of bang for the buck. It easily handles multiple sheets at a timeas well as individual credit cards. I had a significant stack of papers to shread and was able to do them without having to wait for it to cool down. Made in Vietnam.

I purchased this shredder because of affordability and ease of purchase. Although it was advertised as being able to shred 12 sheets of paper, I could not shred 3 pieces of paper. right of the box, the cutting blades would not work. I was very disappointed. Possible I just got a lemon. Took machine back for a refund which was the best part of this purchase.

Works very well. I try not to feed anything more than 10 sheets. I have not pushed it to the 30 minutes run time but I do go over 20 minutes often. During shredding if there is a long pause, it reverses for few seconds and before going into a standby mode. I thought it was a very nice feature. Every month I spread some vegetable oil on a thick piece of paper and shred that to oil the blades. I also line my bin with a thin plastic bag to keep my shredder clean.

The shredder perfectly fulfills its function of shredding papers, CDs, and plastic cards. It's compact, doesn't take up much space, and has a good capacity bin. It has an indicator that alerts us when the bin is full and needs to be emptied. Good price for the item. I'm satisfied with the product and recommend it.

Very good shredder especially for $70. What it does well - (1) on wheels which improves usability big time (2) excellent chewing up ability which is a must for this product (3) excellent opening width for putting paper etc into the shredder - many of these products fail miserably here (4) good continuous operation without overheating (5) reliable operation so far. (6) extra small shards. Effective shredding! Most of these sun $200 shredders are not reliable. DRAWBACKS: (1) has no capability to accept a plastic bag to collect refuse so you have to add a step to pull the collection section (it is easy to do) and then bag the shards. (2) no reverse option as the machine does that at end of every session as long as you leave the thing on after the last page shreds - it takes 30-45 seconds for it to reverse cycle. (3) no access to teeth. You get a few sheets of lubricated paper to use to occasionally grease the teeth. But - this means you have to store these sheets somewhere and remember to use them. You can occasionally spray lubricant into paper opening in accordance with the instructions. Overall I recommend this thing as it is better than anything else available in this price range.

At first we liked it but shortly after opening it, it started to give off an gassy/electrical smell. It didn’t feel safe to inhale that or have it in the house at all. Had to return it and luckily the customer service team gave us a refund right away.

I am extremely happy with this purchase so far. I was seriously worried because the price was cheaper than anywhere else and I thought because of the price it wouldn't be any good but after I read the reviews it convinced me to give it a shot and boy am I glad that I did. All the things I love about this shredder are the price, the very low level of sound and how well it shreds everything. I have been using it & I am thrilled how well it works. If this is not for business and only for home use I highly recommend this item. For a business not so much, I worked in an office & the amount of shredding I believe would be way to much BUT for home use it's perfect.

I bought this shredder for security (I don't like throwing credit card offers and ads like that away without shredding them first), but I discovered that it is exceptionally useful for something else. I used to just tear or cut clean paper and cardboard to put in my compost bin, and on a whim, I tried putting a single piece of plain cardboard through the shredder. It worked. Then I tried some more. I sat in my laundry room shredding cardboard (we've recently moved, and had a ton of empty cardboard boxes to get rid of) for almost an hour, and the shredder never overheated, never jammed, never did anything except dice that cardboard into perfectly fine, compostable material. Even better, i could take out the bin with no issues, no spills, no bags, and take it straight outside and dump directly into the compost bin. I don't usually leave reviews, but this one is worth it. Paper, cardboard, you name it, this thing eats it, no problem. It saved me an incredible amount of time and effort, and is more than worth the price.
