I was impressed with this shredder and the extra features. It shreds in very small cuts, much smaller than my last shredder. It has a red light to indicate a full container so I can Emory it without it being overfilled. It’s very quiet, too. Well worth the price.

This shredder is horrible. If you place more than 5 sheets of normal paper in it then it gets jammed, claims it can do up to 12 sheets at a time. Paper tends to wrap around the shredding blades and then you have to pull it out by hand, trying not to cut your hands. Spend the extra money and get something decent.

We bought this shredder just over a year ago to finally upgrade from our previous shredder which we'd had for about 10 years and had some cracks on the top, but still worked. I liked the pull out design for emptying the bin and that functioned well. At first this seemed to be a good shredder, but I'm not typically a heavy user, just some junk mail here and there and a few other docs as I clean out old files annually. Well, in December when I went to shred some papers it began pulsating and not running everything through at once. I've never maxed out the number of papers or even used it all that much so I was confused why it would be acting up. I let it go and unplugged it hoping for a reset then went to use it again a few days ago and the same thing. Sadly, when I finally checked we're just out of the warranty period (mid-January). I'd already given our old reliable shredder away so I guess I'll have to get a new one since this one won't work properly.

Amazingly EAGER! We have had several Fellows before--maybe these were odd fellows or poor fellows, but they were not nearly a "Member's Mark"! Extremely efficient "micro-cutting" (pelletizing) of a stack of real 24 pound paper with very little paper dust! When the bin is full, a person (me!) can transfer the remains single-handedly into a grocery bag for recycling. For the price, capacity, ease of operation, and extremely low dust generation, an amazing machine!

This shredder shreds staples and credit cards with ease. I have not put 12 sheets of paper through it, but I do eight to ten at a time without a problem. It comes with one lubricating sheet. I like that it is on wheels so it is easy to move around. The only criticism I have is it sometimes says the bin is full when it's not and stops shredding. If I give it a shake, it starts right up again.

Worked great past the end of the 90 day warranty . We only shred regular paper and we never shred more than 6 sheets at a time . Somewhere around the 120 to 140 day time frame ( less than 20 uses) it suddenly slowed down and ground to a halt. IT IS LOCKED UP DEAD! VERY DISSAPOINTED!!!!!

I purchased one of these in Feb 2021 and it only lasted until November under very light use. It was replaced under warranty and now that replacement has only lasted until today, June 2022. I will be returning it once again. I don't know what causes the problem, but the shredder will suddenly stop taking in paper smoothly and begin taking in paper in pulses. Thorough cleanings of both the paper sensor and the interior blades makes no difference.

This micro-cut shredder is the best I have ever had at a fantastic price. Not only does it shred up to 12 pages at a time, it also shreds folders, cd's, dvd's, mailing labels and credit cards. As much as I try not to allow paperwork to accumulate, I still find that I have junk mail and "offers" that contain my personal identifiable information (PII) or personal health information (PHI). I can rest assured that I can shred it into small enough pieces to where it cannot be restored. It holds a lot of shredded material and the pull-out drawer is easy to empty. I loved it so much I got a second one for my home office where I have proprietary work information that must be shredded per business policies.

If you need a simple shredder and don't mind feeding in about half dozen sheets a time, this is okay. If you need a heavy duty shredder to do some continuous shredding, this isn't going to be a happy experience for you. Starting squeaking after a few uses. Not sure if it will be a keeper....

Worked as expected, shredded about 2-3 bins full over the course of 10 months. I usually keep it powered off, only powering on when I needed to shred something, once or twice a week. One day I went to turn it on and it didn't power on. I moved it to another outlet, but still no power. It's within the warranty period, but I threw out the carton and packing materials long ago.
