Works really good,

Works good out of the box. All of my previous shredders allowed me to use a trash bag in the bin for easy clean up. This one does not. Trash bag in the bin makes the bin full light come on. So annoying.

I have not used it much, but so far it works quite well. The only problem, if it can be called a problem, is the slot to place the paper is a little to narrow. An 81/2" sheet just barely will go into it. I say this because my old shedder had a little extra space which made it easier to insert the paper.

Ther is a known issue with this shredder where it pulses as it shreds. Shreds an inch, stops, starts, stops, starts. There is an internet fix. There is a Youtube video that shows how to "fix" it. The problem is, the fix is to unplug the overheating portion which is dangerous as overheating is something you don't want. This item should be recalled or returnable, despite it being over 90 days. This is a flaw with the product, not an issue from overuse or age of the product. Shame on Sam's for not recalling, but continuing to sell it.

I bought one of these shredders and was pleased with it until it stopped working. Thinking that Members Mark product have a lifetime warranty I took it back to the store. The person who helped me said, "anything with a cord only has a 90 day return period" she was kind enough to make an exception but. After this experience I would not purchase another.

I had a small shredder that was great but would only shred 5 pages at a time. And to get the paper out i had to take the top off and it would make a mess no matter how careful i was. Saw this one and liked you can pull the tray out, and it shred 12 sheets. I wasnt disappointed. I could shred whole envelopes with junk mail with no problem. It runs smooth too, minimal noise. And pulling out the tray is so great. Shreds as expected, no one will piece together your info. And the price is hard to beat. Research this, you wont find a micro shredder with pull out tray close to this price. Buy it, you wont be disappointed

I've had this for about 6 months now. Well-built machine with castors that make it easy to move around. It has a "standby" mode in case you want to leave it on and use as needed (I don't). Paper bin is good size. Easily fits under a desk. Shreds "micro-cut" (i.e., pretty fine pieces). The price is excellent for the quality of what you get. It seems to deliver exactly what is says...can shred 12 pages. It gives you notice that the bin is full - it will not operate until emptied. Sound is not too loud like some. The key to these machines operating well is keeping them unclogged (i.e., empty a needed and not overdoing it with too many pages at one time) and lubricated (buy shredder machine oil or lubrication sheets and use them as recommended by the manufacturer).

Secure cross cut that'll protect your private identifiable information by making it impossible to restore the documents. I could not find any other brands' shredder that would provide 30 minutes continuous run time and maximum of 12 pages of shredding power with this low price.

So far, it works very well. I have not had any trouble with anything that I have shredded. much quieter than my last one. Seems very sturdy. I would highly recommend it even if you weren’t going to use it just in your home like I am. I think it would hold up to a small office also.

I am really happy with this shredder. I have shredded LOTS of old files recently, and it never jammed or overheated. It has a large capacity and a “full” indicator, but I recommend emptying it before it gets completely full to make it easier and less messy.
