This is the best shredder I have used. Has quiet operation, shreds in tiny pieces. Will shred several pieces of paper at a time. Handles cards too. I don't have to empty the bin as often as with smaller shredders. The price was great. This is a great buy!

I am very happy with this purchase! We are moving and I have a lot to shred but didn't want to pay a lot to take it somewhere. So I got this and it is a work horse!!!! It has hardly jammed at all and does an excellent job. Best shredder I have ever had.

I originally purchased one that had an lubricating paper that was to be used prior to the first use then the instructions said to oil every 2 weeks. This oil caused horrible smell to be generated and the unit stopped working after just a few days of use. I returned and received a replacement that didn't have this lubricating paper and so far it has worked perfectly for 2 weeks with heavy use the first week then moderate use thereafter.

This is a great shredder. I looked at several office supply stores and all were more expensive than this one. The shredder runs quietly, works fast, and because it is a micro shredder, cuts your papers into little squares. Being able to pull the bin out the front to empty rather than removing the cutting unit from the top is a big plus.

I read several reviews that said the shredder either didn't work, or stopped working after a short period of time. I've only used it a few times, but I think it works great! I love the micro-cut and the pull-out "catch bin" makes it very convenient to empty. I think it's a great shredder, and the price can't be beat.

This paper shredder is super quiet. It can be used anytime because it is so quiet. It is very easy to empty. You just pull out the compartment with the paper in it to empty it. You don't have to lift shredder unit at all to empty it. I would definitely recommend this to anyone.

I run a small business out of our home, which is the number one reason why we purchased this shredder. It’s pretty compact and looks nice! It does everything from credit cards to CDs… and minces the paper so nicely. We use it every day, have had it for a month, and have only had to empty it once or twice. I especially love it for all of the political hoohah that comes in the mail too. Great for eliminating paper clutter!

Strong motor that shows little strain when shredding thicker documents. I like that the content level viewing window is on the narrow dimension so that it is visible when placed along side a desk end. Shredded paper seems denser and therefore requiring less frequent emptying than the fluffier stuff from my old shredder.

Ther is a known issue with this shredder where it pulses as it shreds. Shreds an inch, stops, starts, stops, starts. There is an internet fix. There is a Youtube video that shows how to "fix" it. The problem is, the fix is to unplug the overheating portion which is dangerous as overheating is something you don't want. This item should be recalled or returnable, despite it being over 90 days. This is a flaw with the product, not an issue from overuse or age of the product. Shame on Sam's for not recalling, but continuing to sell it.

Shredder works great for my needs. Very quiet. My previous shredder I had to lift the complete motor off the top to empty. This shredder has a pull out drawer & much more compatible to move around along with being a taller unit. I did not have these options on my previous shredder & is a plus for me.
